Epilogue

A Few months later, and I have gotten use to my wings... As well the seasons have changed from spring to summer.... My birthday passed and I am now five (wolf) years old. Echo still hangs around me and the others. I still love her and she still feels the same way towards me as well. Ace has started to teach me to hunt and I am still getting the hang of it when he goes out hunting. Chance, well that is a bit of a different story. He had started to have visions of mom, as well as dad being killed in front of him and what he could of done to prevent bit, even though there was nothing he could do to stop it. He then told me that the red bandanna I have is from mom... she had passed it down before she turned into a angel... she then used her angelic magic and added the letters GM to it in gold.... So any wolf, specifically Chance, would know that it was me. One day Chance started to fade away. Me, Ace, and Echo just watched as Chance said,"There is nothing you can do.... This is the end for me......Golden just remember that I am your brother and always will be...." I started to cry. He then said his final words,"I am going to be up with mom.... And remember me... I will always be there even if you don't think I am.... I love you all and goodbye..." Before he could finish his last sentence he ceased to exist. I just howled and Ace joined in then Echo as well. This was the second time that Ace has howled..... I played with echo as usual and Ace said that he was going to take us to go get some fish out of a nearby stream. We went and had fun, but I will never forget the day that Chance vanished... I still have a spot for him in my heart and I have started to recover from the pain of that day....
