Chapter 10

I then collapsed on the ground and my wings were still a little fluttery. Chance ran over and said,"Golden you.....h....have wings....and are you OK?" I then lost my vision and laid limp. Ace looked at me and stopped. Chance started to tear up and turned around looking straight at the she-wolf. He then said,"How dare you hurt MY BROTHER!" She then replied in a thin,quiet voice,"I didn't mean to!.....Something just got into me..... I don't know why or what it was...." Ace then started to poke me with his paw and walked around me. I still laid limp with no response whatsoever to the pokes that Ace had made at me. Ace then did something that he had never done before and that was to howl. Chance stopped and howled with him, he was shocked that he had done that. Then the she-wolf walked over to me and put her paw on my snout. As she was doing this she said,"Just wait and let me do my magic ...." She then started to howl beautifully and then her paw started to glow. I did as well and the boys just sat back watching in wonder. I started to wake up and she slowly started to pull her paw back. I stood up, yawned, then stretched, my wings fully extend out to the sides as if I was to take off. She was so happy that she nuzzled up to me. She then started to say," I am actually about the same age as Golden... Just a bit older......" I then said out of being caught up in the moment,"I....I...I love you..." As I was saying this I wrapped my tail around hers. She noticed and started to get nervous and said under her breath, but just loud enough for me to hear,"I do too.... I am sorry for what I have done to you... I guess that I let the evil take over me and I didn't mean to hurt you...." I smiled and she let go of my tail, then licked my nose. I then started to blush as if I was embarrassed. Ace then said,"How do we know that we can trust you?" She then replied back in kind of a putting off tone,"I just healed Golden out of love and for you guys.... You care a lot for him and I was wrong about you..." I then said randomly,"Chance.... I saw mom....she looked beautiful.... And she said that she missed you" I started to break into tears, the very few minutes that I had with mom in heaven kept playing back in my mind. Chance then replied back,"You did?...." Then a tear started to form and run down his face. Ace then said,"let's get back to the den then we can talk more about this there..."
