She's Kinda Hot - 1

Madelyn's POV

"Mads, wake up," A familiar voice said. "It's the first day of summer," She urged. "Ok, give me a minute Sarah," I finally answered. She huffed. 

I finally got up and gave into my 12 year old sister. I slowly made my way downstairs rubbing my eyes. "Glad to see you got up," My mother giggled. "Yea, so happy to be awake," I added. "I'm gonna go on a walk," I said. "Ok, be careful," My Mum responded. 

I closed the door and walked outside wearing some leggings, a tee shirt, and a light jacket. My brown hair was in a pony tail that waved back and forth as I walked on the sidewalk. I went to my favorite park and sat down by my favorite tree. 

-FLASHBACK- (8 years ago)

I ran to the tree with my friend Gabriella. "Hurry, you don't want them figuring out we left," I whisper screamed. "I am running as fast as I can," Gabi responded. We ran behind the tree and sat down trying not to make a peep. 

- PRESENT DAY -

I traced my fingers over the sign we carved into it. It said G + M. I giggled as I thought back to how carefree it was to just be ten and a kid. I looked down at the ground and just zoned out. I was interrupted by a person standing in front of me. 

A girl with brown hair, ombre tips, and a pair of leggings and a sweatshirt. She waved until she caught my attention. "Gabi!" I squealed with excitement. I got up quickly to hug her. We then both sat down and talked for a while.

An hour later after talking to Gabi we said our goodbyes and I went back to my house. On my way there I just stared down at the sidewalk and bumped into a guy and fell. "I am sorry I wasn't watching where I was going," I said while he helped me up. I looked into his hazel eyes and blushed. He slightly blushed too. "Hey, my name is Ashton," He said. "My name is Madelyn," I added. 

"I have to go," I said. "Oh ok. Yea I should probably get going too," Ashton responded. His hand reached for his neck and awkwardly rubbed it. It was silent for a second before I headed off. I am so stupid. What was I thinking. I should've stayed. 

- Ashton's POV -

I should've made her stay. I walked away and turned back to see she was leaving too. I smiled to myself and kept walking.

I made it back to my house and walked in. "Hey Mum," I walked up the stairs and to my room. "Are you going to Luke's later?" She yelled from downstairs. "Yea," I yelled back. "Ok honey, just let me know when you leave," My Mum called. "Ok Mum," I called back. I was walking down the hallway to my room when I overheard Lauren singing. 

"You sound really good," I said. She jumped and turned around. Lauren blushed and looked down at her feet. "Hey, don't be so embarrassed, you have a talent," I added. I walked out of the room and down the mine at the end of the hallway. 

- Madelyn's POV -

After I turned around and started walking back to my house I gently smiled and kept walking. I got to my house and said hi to everyone and went to my room. 

I grabbed my phone out of my pocket regretting that I didn't at least get his number. I pulled up Spotify and started playing some Green Day and All Time Low. I drown out the sound of the dogs barking next door. I then close my eyes and eventually fall asleep. 

-Ashton's POV -

I told my mother I was leaving and I went to my car to head to Luke's house. I turned the key in the ignition and pulled out of the driveway. 

I got to Luke's house and pulled in his driveway. I walked up to the door and knocked. Liz opened the door. "Hi Liz," I said. We hugged as I stepped in the door. "Luke is in the garage so you can go ahead and meet him in there, all the boys are in there too," Liz added. I headed to their garage and saw the boys. "Hey guys, sorry I'm late," I said. "It's all good mate," Luke responded.

"So what did management say about music?" I asked. "They said we can stay here for now because we just got off tour, but they said we need to start writing a new album soon," Calum answered. 

"Wait this is not normal, they said we could stay here and write, not go to L.A?" I questioned. "Yea, I know it's unusual," Luke added. 

"So I guess we should get started," I said. I walked over to my drum set and we played a few songs then started writing. 

"So I have a title we could use that I came up with an hour ago or so," I said. "Yea so what is it?" Mikey asked. "She's Kinda Hot," I said.

So this was my first chapter. I know it was a little short but hey I haven't written in a long time and needed a new story to make up for deleting my other story Latte. Which in my opinion wasn't the best. But I hope you enjoyed. ;)

Also sorry if there are some mistakes. I may have missed them while looking through it. ;)
