Government transparency is needed and would be great. But you know what? ACTUAL CORRUPTION IS ALREADY VISIBLE. The people just have no option to do anything about it.
Google some powerful government position. Then look up the names of the board members + directors. All the ridiculous affiliations are surprisingly visible.
Humans think they can't enact change unless the option is given to them. How about that for an easy peasy evil government strategy? Don't want people to change something? Then never present an option to change it.
