About the Story

Hello! So as you can see I am writing a Yuri On Ice book! And I am excited! But before we start I would like to go over the story and who the character is based on. So Ariana's life is strongly based off of Tonya Harding. If you haven't seen I, Tonya, then I strongly suggest you do so, only because it is such a great movie and we get to see Tonya's life and how hard it was for her. I would like to say that Ariana won't be exactly like Tonya Harding, but she will have some of her bad past, including a horrible mother. So Ariana's mother, Lucy Ivanov, she is based off of Lavona Golden, who is Tonya's mother. She was a horrible person, she abused her and talked down to her about how she was bad at Skating, she never really praised her, so that's who Ariana's mother is based off of, so be warned for abusive contact in this book. Now that, that is out of the way, I'm now gonna give you an idea about what Ariana looks like and who she is, along with her mother.

Place of birth: St. Petersburg, Russia, in a hospital (duh! Stupid author-chan!)

Personality: Ariana is a bubbly and kind person, always cheering on other competitors and wishing them luck, she's hardly ever rude, even though her mother says she shouldn't be talking with her enemies, she still does it anyways, and even though her mother is horrible, she never talks back and always obeys, even if it hurts her

Personality: Lucy is a hard person to get to know, she's quit rude and always talks down to people, she also smokes. Her mother was abusive, and she does physically abuse Ariana, like her mother did, she also verbally abuse her, and to her, she thinks she's doing a better job as a mother. She thinks that Ariana is ungrateful and feels as if she can never make her proud, so she thought figure skating would do that, but even though her daughter tries so hard, she still talks down to her.
