After Victor had returned, Yuuri went back to him. And Ariana decided to have a normal, laid back day before she had to skate the next night. The blonde teenager sat in her room, laying on her bed as she stared up at the celeing. Yuri had left hours ago to look around, leaving her alone for the day. Ariana let out a long breath.
"What to do today?" Ariana mused.
Her phone buzzed and she saw that Yuri had posted something. She smiled as she liked the post and sat up, rubbing her tired green eyes. Sighing she swung her legs over the side of the bed. Yawning she stood up and stretched her tired muscles. Ariana decided that it was time to get ready for the day. The blonde threw off her night clothes and slipped on a white dress and baige sandals. Around her neck she placed a white choker with a heart on it, and fixed her tangled blonde air. She then examined herself in the mirror.
"Perfect."
Grabbing her purse and phone, the russian skater was out the door. Ariana looked around in awe, taking pictures along the way.
"It's Ariana!"
"Look! Over there!"
Ariana turned her head slightly and saw a group of teenage girls and boys rush her way. Ariana's eyes widened as she sprinted down the sidewalk, turning lefts and rights to get away from the crazy fans. Once the girl finally lost them, she breathed out in relieaf. She looked around to see where she was. She was on a bridge, the water flowing beneath it as the flowers on the tree fell around her. Ariana took out her phone and snapped a picture, posting it.
"What are you doing here?" A voice sneered.
Ariana turned her head to see none other then Quinn Evans. The UK figure skater had her blonde hair in a messy bun, she wore a black sweater, with dark red pants and black boots.
"Hello, Quinn."
Quinn only scoffed as she stood next to her. Both girls looked over the bridge. After a long silence, Quinn spoke up.
"How do you do it?"
Ariana raised a brow as she turned her head, "Huh?"
"How do you keep on smiling, even when you're treated like shit by your own mother."
Ariana looked down, and let her continue.
"How do you keep on going, even after you loose or mess up? Why do you keep on smiling?" Quinn grunted out as ber hands clutched the bar of the bridge harder, "that's one of the things I hate about you. The fact that no matter what, you're always happy."
"What's your story, Quinn?" Ariana asked lightly.
Quinn clenched her teeth as she looked down, "My mother died when I was 6. Since then it's always been me and my big sister, I looked up to you, because of you, I wanted to skate. So my sister taught me. She was the best skatder in the UK." Tears cascaded down Quinn's honey skin, "But it all ended when she tore her claf muscle, and broke her ankle. Her career ended just like that." Quinn said as she snapped her fingers, "I promised her...that I would be the best skater out there, I'll be number 1, for her. I envy you. No matter how bad you do, you keep on pushing forward, why?" Quinn whispered as more tears fell from her eyes. A light smile formed on Ariana's lips.
