It was our lunch and I decided to just hang with my friend Riku. I only had a few dumplings that my mom made. And for Ruki...she basically had the whole menu to a restaurant. Well, I'm only exaggerating. But she does have a lot of food. "I wanna know how someone like you only eats and never gets fat." I tell her.
"I'm born with it. Not everyone can have such a fit body like me." She stand up to pose for me.
"And not everyone can be a model. So stop posing like that." I pull on her coat to make her sit down. She frowns at me and continues to eat.
All of a sudden I hear almost every girl in the whole school scream. "Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god! He's coming!" Riku starts freaking out. She look at the food not knowing what to do with it.
"He can't know that I eat like this." She panics.
"Does it really matter I mean-" before I can finish my sentence she shoves her food toward me which lands off the table and onto my lap. Great, my uniforms dirty.
"Oh look!! He's here!!" She she starts screaming with the other girls in the room. I look through a small gap of girls to see Uehara walking by. Why doe everyone have to make such a big deal of him.
"If you excuse me, I need go to the ladies room and clean this food off me that you just spilled on me." She doesn't say anything as I get up to leave to the restroom.
I walk in grabbing a paper towel and trying my best to wipe off all the food on me. It did come off, but there were still smudges of food on my and it wasn't going to come off until I wash it. And all I can smell is the sushi roll she dumped onto me. This is just great. But I'm used to smells like this. I work at a ramen shop. But not everyone likes or is used to the smell of ramen.
I walk out of the restroom only to run into someone. "Oh! I'm so sorry. I didn't see where I was going." He apologizes.
"No no. It's my fault. I wasn't being careful." I look up to see Daichi Shinozaki, on of the most top three popular boys in the school. I'll admit, Uehara is handsome, but I gotta say, Daichi is really cute. But I won't ever tell anyone that.
He looks down at my clothes. I cover it in embarrassment. "M-my friend spilled food on me." I feel myself getting red. He just lets out a small laugh. I hate being in this situation. "I'm gonna kill you Riku." I mutter to myself.
"Here, using this will be easier." He hands me a hankie. I look at it first thinking if I should take it or not. I end up taking it.
"Thanks, I'll clean this and hand it back to you tomorrow." I say.
"No need, just keep it. I don't really need it anyways." He smiles. I give him a small smile back.
"I should get to class. But see you around." He waves bye and leaves. I walk back into the restroom and wipe the rest of the food off me. "I'm so gonna kill you Riku." I mutter to myself again.
By the time the bell rings, the food is all gone from my uniform. But the smell continues to stay. I walk back to class to see Riku reading a book in her sit. I walk over and kick her foot. It was hard, but not hard enough to make her bleed of cry.
"Ouch, what was that for. And why does it smell like ramen?" She sniffs.
"The smell is from the food that YOU spilled on me. And I kicked you because you spilled food on me." I say kicking her seat.
"Well it's not my fault that I'm completely in love with Uehara." She says.
"It it your fault stupid." I kick her seat lightly.
"Well it's not my fault he's so good looking." She says.
"True." I say taking my seat behind her. Everyone walks into class early.
"Why does it smell like ramen?" Someone in the class questions. I kick the back of Riku's seat hard.
"Ouch! Screw you, Kumi!" She whisper yells at me.
"Screw your eating habit!" I whisper yell back. We glare at each other for a few seconds until we both start giggling nonstop.
