Class was over and I had nothing else better to do. And so did Riku. We decided to stay after school and help out in the library before we go over to her house to study. Luckily this helps us with our grades. Mostly hers. We go over to one of the classroom they said for us to go to so we can pick up some books and return them to the library.

"These books are heavy." She says.

"Not my fault you're so weak." I say as I laugh at her lightly. She kicks the back of my leg.

"Ouch!"

"Don't be a baby." She says.

"Yeah yeah, whatever. Just head over to the library. I'll meet you there in a sec." I say.

"Ok, don't take to long slowpoke." She says.

"I'm not slow." I say.

"Mhmm." I roll my eyes at her. If anyone's slow, it her.

I pick up a few books and start heading downstairs to the library. As I go down the stairs, I lose my balance, but luckily I'm able to catch myself before I fall completely. But sadly almost every book I was holding fell.

I speed down the steps trying my best to pick up the books that I dropped. No student bothered to help me, they just stared and left. I sigh.

As I think I'm done, I see a book is brought up to my face. "You missed one." I look up to see Daichi smiling at me.

I take the book. "Thanks for that." I say and putting it in the stack of books I was holding.

"You need any help with that?" He asks.

"No, I'm good. My balance just isn't the best." I say.

"Then I should walk you, just in case." He says. I laugh lightly as we continue to walk to the library.

"What are these for anyways?" He asks.

"They're from one of the classrooms upstairs. They didn't need them anymore so my friend and I decided to help out, since we have nothing better to do and I have no work today." I say.

"Such nice girls." I he says.

"Yeah right, the nicest person in this whole school probably has to be Nao Yoshikawa.  The nicest girl I've ever met." I say.

"You know her?" He asks.

"Yeah, kinda. My class did a project with hers last year. That's how I met her, she's probably the nicest girl ever. What about you, how do you know her?" I ask.

"We've been friends since we were kids." He says.

"Ah, I see."

We arrive to the library to see Riku waiting for me. "Slow poke." She says.

"I lost my balance and dropped the books." I said.

"Excuses excuses. Anyways, she said to leave the books there and she'll do the rest." She told me. I nod my head and put the books onto the table.

"Do you need a ride home today?" Daichi asks.

"No thanks, I'm heading to her house to study. But thanks for the offer." I tell him.

"No problem, I'll see you tomorrow." He smiles and waves.

He leaves and Riku runs over to me. "Holy crap, you two should totally date! You would be such a cute couple! And it's perfect since he'd be the most amazing boyfriend ever! How do you not like that boy!!? He just offered to give you a ride home!!" She says.

"Calms down. I told you, I don't like him like that and I dorm like anyone like that. And stop fantasizing about my love life. Why don't you fantasize about yours instead? Like with Uehara?" I smirk.

"Shut up. I don't have a chance with him." She says pushing me lightly.

"You realize that but somehow continue to crush on him." I say grabbing my bag.

"Yes, he's like a super star. A very handsome one. I wouldn't be surprised if he became one. I mean, he's so handsome and great. I wouldn't be surprised if he was able to sing." The babbles.

"I don't thinks anyone would. Now, let's get going, I don't wanna stay here any longer." I say grabbing her wrist and we start leaving.

We leave the building and continue to walk straight back to her house. "Are you sure you don't like Daichi? I mean, he's really cute, and you are as well. You two would be perfect." She tells me.

"You only say this because he talks to me. What would you do if Uehara just gave you a simple "hi" and then left?" I ask.

"Don't know because I don't know how that feels and it will never happen." She says.

"Why don't you crush on a guy that you'll actually have a chance with? Like that kid Abe you told me about?"

"Nuh uh. That kid likes anyone. There's no way I'll go out with him. And you try and find me a cute boy that'll actually like me."

"Nah, to much work to just try and please you. But anyways, before we go to your house, you wanna go get some ramen?" I ask.

"Nah, I'm tired of it. Mostly the smell. Because you smell like ramen." She says. I slap the back of her head.

"Well to bad. I'm starving. I'm going to call Issei to make some ramen for me to go."

"Who the hell is Issei?" She asks as I take my phone from my bag.

"A friend. Now, let's get going."
