The Truth

LISA:

I woke up, unsure of where I was , I looked around the empty room to see my sister Christina standing there with a worried look On her face. I quickly closed my eyes so she did not know that I was awake, I wanted to avoid questions for as long as possible. that's when I heard a male voice enter the room, he told Christina what had happened and that I had drunk alcohol, now I was scared to face reality ,I kept my eyes closed and then I heard my moms voice , she sounded disappointed I assumed the doctor had told her about my experience with alcohol. I knew I had to wake up ,I had to explain why.

I opened my eyes to see 5 pairs if eyes looking back at me. my mom asked Michael to take Lauren and dani out so she and Christina could talk to me.

I felt like I had a giant lump in my throat and was scared to talk.

My mom started with "why ,why would you do that , and then she whispered and why cut yourself".

I didn't know what was happening and I began to shake uncontrollably ,I remember a mask being put over my face and that was it.

I woke up sometime later and I was alone In the room, I could hear voices outside. I then heard something that made my heart drop into my stomach, the doctor was telling my mom that I had tests done on me and they found out my hidden secret that belonged with me and Jonathan. that was it, they knew. i was relieved but also petrified about how this would end.

My mom entered the room and looked at me and silently walked over to me and hugged me , we both cried and she told me she knows what he did.

The police were called and Jonathan was arrested, i thought that would be the end , I'd live the rest of my life and forget about what had happened to me. and yes I did, I forgot about it until my 21st birthday , when I came face to face with the monster that took my innocence once again.
