A Broken Angel - a Lisa Cimorelli story

Poison

DANI :

It was 11:00 and Lisa was still in bed, i thought it was weird and unusual for her to still be asleep so I went to check on her. I went into our room but Lisa was no where to be seen, I then heard somebody crying In the bathroom,it was Lisa. I went close to the bathroom and called Lisa's name, she said what so I asked her if she was okay and if she wanted me to get anyone. she replied no and then I heard her be sick. even though she said she didn't want any help I called my mom upstairs.

LISA:

Why was I so sick, what was it that we both ate that would make us so unwell, I then remembered the pizza we had, it was delivered by Jonathan, did he poison it with something?, he definitely had done something to it.

I then heard Dani call my name, I said what and she asked me If I was okay and wanted any help, I said no, I didn't want anybody.

I then heard my mom come up the stairs and knocked on the bathroom door, I let her in otherwise she would think something was wrong.

She told me I can't sit over the toilet the whole day so she gave me a bucket and told me to go to my bed also giving me some bottled water.

My mom then asked me if there was anything else she could do, so I asked her if she would be able to go across the street and check on Noah, seeing as he was on his own. She said okay and then went over, she came back 15 minutes later and told me that he was sick but better than me and that he had given her a spare key so she could get in, if she went to check on him again.she then left me alone and went back downstairs and I went to sleep.

LATER THAT DAY:

LISA:

Suddenly I woke up, feeling even worse than I did before, I grabbed the bucket and was sick and was horrified to see blood in the bucket, all of a sudden a felt really hot, I got out of bed to open the window, I walked a couple if steps and collapsed, I remember hearing my sister Lauren shout my name as my vision went black.

The next thing I remember was waking up in hospital with a mask over my face, I had wires over my body and my vision was still blurred. how long had I been like this ? I questioned myself . I then heard Christian my brother shout "Look, she's waking up". my mom then rushed over to me crying, I was still confused of my surroundings and I felt like my lips will sealed shut as I just couldn't make my voice heard.

The doctor then came in and asked me if I knew where I was, I slowly nodded my head but I was still unaware as to why I was here.

My doctor then told me that I had suffered a huge reaction to the food I had eaten the previous night and that I had actually digested poison into my system, I suddenly remembered the pizza me and Noah had eaten, I knew Jonathan had put something into the pizza. I then began to worry about Noah and my mom could see my face and she told me that Christina had checked on him at his place and he was fine but taken to the hospital just incase and was now being examined by the doctor to see how much poison he had put into his body.

Still unable to speak, my mom asked the doctor "when will Lisa be able to leave" the doctor replied "tomorrow as long as there have been no dangerous changes to her health",I still felt dizzy and my vision was still kind if blurry but clearer than it was when I woke up, I wanted to make sure Noah was okay and that he was not as ill as I was, but I couldn't even speak!, I was scared that if I spoke I would be sick again and that is not what I wanted to happen.Lauren and Dani were trying to talk to me and telling me to talk, so they knew I was better, but I just didn't have the energy to do so.

HOURS LATER:

LISA:

I was beginning to feel a little better and was slowly talking, I saw the door open and a smile was painted on my face, it was Noah and I was so happy to see him and know that he was okay.

I was still throwing up but the doctor said that it was a good thing as it was taking out the poison, Noah stayed by my side despite the fact that I looked a disgusting mess and held my hand.

NOAH:

I started to worry when Christina came over earlier and told me that Lisa had collapsed and was rushed to hospital, I was told that she may have got food poisoning and seeing as I had eaten the same food as her and felt unwell I went with her to the hospital to get checked over, I got there and saw lisa laying in a bed having her stomach pumped, i was so worried for her , I was led off to a room where the doctor ran checks on me, he told me that the food had been poisoned an that I was lucky to not have such a bad reaction. I had to force myself to be sick which was not nice, so the poison would leave my body, I sat with a bucket for hours coughing my guts up until eventually the doctor came in and told me that I would be fine, he gave me some medication which I would have to take for a few weeks but I should be a lot better after the treatment ended, I wish the same could be said for lisa, however her reaction was much worse.

As I was leaving, I went to Lisa's room to check on her,as Christina had told me she was awake but I didn't want to stay long as she needed her family with her.

I entered her room and was met with a beautiful face, I felt horrible as she was lying here and I was able to leave.

She didn't say much, I knew she wouldn't , she was so sick but I stayed by her and held her hand. she eventually fell asleep then her mom came in, I said I should probably go and I would be by tomorrow if that was okay, she said that lisa would hopefully be home tomorrow so I could come round then. I kissed lisa on the forehead, i smiled , said goodbye to her mom and left.
