Chapter 3- Part 2: EX-Change

Yasmine's POV

Since Sasha volunteered to drive, she was gonna be the one to take us to
wherever me, her, Adam, and Slim were going to meet. "Where are we going anyways?" Sasha said while she had her hands in the steering wheel. "Ummm, Adam just texted me saying we were gonna meet at Wells Park". "I'm surprised it wasn't his house " Sasha murmurs. I give her the look, "What?" she says while laughing, "Can we just start driving?" I say. "Cause you wanna see your boo A--" she says while cracking up. "Oh my, Sasha! Just start driving" I say "Ok, I will" she says finally.

When we arrive at Wells Park to meet up with Adam and Slim, I spot them playing basketball and woah Adam was good. He was more than good, like he can be a player good. "Yasmine?, Yasmine?, Yasmine?" I finally hear Sasha say, "Yeah?" I say finally realizing how long I was staring at him. "Oh. My. God. You really do like him" Sasha says while laughing and walking to the court, making sure I can say nothing back. I nod my head while laughing then start walking to the court, "Heyyy!" Adam says while I walk up to the court, with his arms out expecting a hug. I give him a hug and then see Sasha and Slim making hearts with their hands and making kissy faces. I roll my eyes at them and break the hug between me and Adam. "We're gonna do team against team" Slim says as we all meet up in the middle of the court. "I think Yasmine and Adam would love to be partners" Sasha says, I give her the look again and this time she just winks at me. "I think Adam would lov---actually both of them would love that" Slim says while nudging Sasha's elbow. "I mean if your okay with that Yasmine..." Adam says while looking back at me with his gorgeous brown eyes. "Why not" I say to Adam with a smile. Adam starts at the top with the ball and I stand in front of Slim to guard him from getting the ball. Adam gives me the look to move more back towards the hoop, so I move towards the hoop. The ball comes flying over to me, so I catch it and shoot it into the hoop before Sasha could interfere the pass. "I did it!" I say out loud and Adam and I give each other a high-five like no other. Then theres Sasha and Slim making it seem like they were expecting us to do something else. "I need some water" I say while fanning myself with my hands. "You barely did anything" Slim says while laughing, "Coming from you" I say back, making everyone else laugh.
When I go to the bench where I left my water bottle, I grab my phone from my bag and see that I have 5 missed calls from my older sister Layla. I quickly call her back to make sure she's all right. "Hello?" I say, "Yasmine..." she says while breathing really heavily. "Come to my house now, like right now" she's says while sounding really scared. "What's going Layla?--are you alright?" I ask "No.." she says while sounding as if she's gonna cry, "He's-he's gonna kill me" she says.......
