Unholy - Sweet Pea

Chapter 1

I'm rolling around in Reggie's bed with him as he tries to keep me in and I have to go when my phone rings with Archie's name on my screen.
"It's Archie" I say and I grab my phone
"What is it Archie? I'm kind of bus-" I start but he cuts me off
"Dad's been shot" he says and I feel like the air has been taken from my lungs
"What?" I ask
"Lily?" Reggie questions me
"Where are you?" I ask
"At Riverdale General Hospital" Archie says
"I'm on my way" I say hanging up and untangling myself from Reggie, finding my clothes as I'm only in my underwear and rush to put them on
"What's going on Lily?" Reggie asks
"My dad's been shot. I gotta go" I say
"I'll drive you there" he says
"Thank you"

At the Hospital, I thank Reggie for dropping me off and don't even bother waiting for him to drive off before running in.
"Arch" I say when I see him by the operating room and he looks at me sighing in relief
"Lily." he says and I pull him in for a hug
"What the hell happened?" I ask
"I went to the bathroom and came out to see this guy pointing a gun at dad. I went to jump in front but he was too fast" he says and I feel as though there's more
"What else?" I ask
"He pointed it at me before he bolted and Pop called the ambulance but they wouldn't have gotten there in time so I put him in the truck and drove him here. What if I made it worse?" he says pulling away
"Arch, you did what you could. You applied pressure to the wound, you got him here. It's gonna be okay, he'll make it" I say 
"How can you be so sure?" he asks
"I remain optimistic for both our sakes" I say hugging him again

1 Hour Later

Jughead, Betty and Veronica came to the hospital, along with Hermione Lodge and the Cooper parents. Archie called mom, Sheriff Keller came for Archie's statement, then Veronica took Archie home to get cleaned up. When he comes back Reggie, the Bulldogs, Kevin and Josie and the Pussycats are all here for support as well as other people from school
"Archie and Lilyana" the doctor says
"Yeah?" I ask
"He's in room 12. You can see him now" he says
"Great."
"Listen, he hasn't woken up yet. But talk to him, coax him back. Keep it positive, honestly. It can make all the difference" the doctor says and we head to his hospital room.
Archie and I try talk positively, holding his hand. I fall asleep to Archie talking to him, dads hand in mine, no will to let go of him.

When I wake I'm at home, in my bed and look over to see Reggie sitting there next to my bed
"Watching me sleep Mantle?" I ask
"Admiring you as you sleep, Andrews" he corrects
"Well aren't you a little softie" I say and he kisses my head before bringing his lips to my ear.
"I'm not a softie" he says and I laugh before I grab his hand to pull him to me.
"You are" I say and he smiles before he begins kissing my neck

3 Days Later

I'm in school unsure of what to do. Who will I hang with? Jughead's at Southside high now, I don't hang with Betty and Veronica. Archie is hanging with the football team for lunchtime practice as well as Reggie so I'm headed home. I sit on the porch steps for at least 10 minutes debating whether or not to go visit Jughead and I decide to go.
When I get to Southside High, I see a bunch of Serpents walking out.
"What are you doing here Northsider?" the tall gorgeous one asks
"I'm looking for Jughead Jones" I say
"Go in turn right, then turn left, then again, then right and you should be there" the girl with pink hair says
"Lily Andrews" I say
"Toni Topaz" she says
"Shouldn't be on the Southside, Northsider. You look as delicate as a flower." the tall one says
"I'll keep that in mind for next time I want to visit my friend Giagantor" I say walking up the steps
"It's Sweet Pea" he says and I laugh
"Don't care" I say heading through the school in the directions Toni told me and begin hanging out with Jughead, helping him set up 'The Red and the Black' office until I have to go.
When I get outside my eyes immediately land on the tall Serpent leaning against his bike smirking at me.
"Rose right?" he asks mockingly
"No. Sweet Corn?" I ask mocking his mockery
"Daisy?" he asks
"Sweet Potato?" I ask
"That's right! It's Lily" he says
"As if you didn't know Sweet Pea" I say walking past him and he grabs my hand
"You really don't want to be walking the streets of the Southside alone, especially not of a night. Especially with the Ghoulies out and about" he says
"You offering to walk me home Giagantor?" I ask
"No, I'm offering you a lift home Flower" he states his tongue poking out between his teeth
"Sure, rather not get raped and dumped in a gutter" I say and he chuckles passing me a helmet, I look at it and put it on before struggling with the strap. He notices my frustration with the helmet and puts his hands under my chin, adjusting the strap. He then gets on the bike and I get on behind him, putting feet in the designated area.
"Might wanna hold on tight Flower" he says and I wrap my arms around his waist as he starts up the bike and follows my directions to my place. Sitting close to him makes it hard to concentrate, he's absolutely gorgeous and I have never felt this was with anyone. Maybe this is why I've never felt right with Reggie... Don't think like that Lily. You just met the guy

When we get there he helps me off his bike and takes the helmet off my head.
"Thanks for the lift Giagantor" I say heading up the porch steps
"Jughead's not gonna last on the Southside if he isn't with the Serpents" he says and I turn to face him
"Then I'll convince him. If he thinks becoming a Serpent is gonna make me turn on him, it won't happen." I say
"You say that now Flower" he says getting on his bike and riding off
