2 Days Later

I walk into the garage to see the guys.
"Good you're all here" I say
"Lily" Archie says
"Sh" I say and he sits down
"You all listen and you better listen good. What you all did on the Southside last night will not be tolerated. It is hard enough watching Sweet Pea change a tyre that is slashed cause he rode over something. But because he was pissed you hooligans, I had to step in and help. Changing a tyre is harder than it looks. Okay Fangs may have had a knife on him but he didn't kill Midge, he keeps it on him for protection, they all do." I say
"Why would they do that?" Kevin asks
"BECAUSE THEY WERE BORN ON THE SOUTHSIDE, KEVIN! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW DANGEROUS IT IS ESPECIALLY NOW THE GHOULIES ARE GETTING OUT OF PRISON!" I yell
"Okay Lily, we get it" Reggie says
"No you obviously don't Reggie, because Fangs doesn't just carry that around to protect himself, he carries it to protect me." I say
"What?" Archie asks
"Sweet Pea and Fangs insisted that if they can't go after Nick then they're gonna keep themselves armed around me so nothing like that ever happens again" I say tears forming in my eyes
"Now I'm gonna go. As you all were" I say leaving the garage to go see Fangs in the police station
"Lily. You know I didn't do this right and the knife was to keep you safe" he whispers
"Of course. Fangs, I am with you 100%. You're one of my best friends, hell you're like a brother to me now. I know you wouldn't kill Midge, you had no reason. We're gonna get you out of this okay?" I say and he nods
"In Unity there is strength" I tell him
"In Unity there is strength" he says before I head over to the debate

After the debate, Jughead and I go talk to FP and see Joaquin who is gonna help Fangs disappear for a bit
"You promise to keep him safe?" I ask
"Lily" FP says
"No. I need to know. Because Fangs is one of my best friends, he's like another brother and he has been helping Sweet Pea keep me safe so I need to make sure Joaquin is gonna keep him safe" I say
"No Serpent Stands Alone and No Serpent is Left for dead" he tells me
"I promise to keep Fangs safe" he says and I nod before we head back to the police station with FP to get prepared for Fangs' release.
"We can't take Fangs out the front, we gotta take him out the side" Jughead says to the new sheriff.
"There's a crowd out there too, pick your poison Serpent" he says
"What do we do man?" Sweet Pea asks
"I don't want to die" Fangs says and I turn to face him
"Fangs, look at me. I'm not gonna let you die for something you didn't do." I say
"We surround him. put up a barrier. In Unity there is strength" Jughead says and we all huddle.
"In Unity there is strength" we all repeat back to him and head out and at one point we turn to see Archie tackle Reggie, and a gunshot go off. Fangs just stands there in shock and I see the bullet wound in Fangs' stomach
"Fangs" I say going down with him Sweet Pea and Jughead and instead of asking for Jughead's flannel I untie it and take it from his waist as everyone keeps touching his wound
"Pea, stop" I say as I push his hands and lift Fangs' shirt, applying the flannel to his wound with pressure
"FP get a car. Nobody will call an ambulance and we need to get him to a hospital" I say and he nods running off. He comes back with the truck and Sweet Pea, Jughead, Toni, some other Serpents and I lift him and get him in the truck and FP drives us to the hospital. The doctors immediately take him into surgery.
"Maybe they should let him go because he killed a girl, plus he's a Serpent" I hear a man who is seated say
"Excuse you?" I ask
"Lily" FP says
"He didn't kill her. The crazy sociopath killer called The Black Hood killed that girl, not my friend who knows more loyalty than I ever doubt you would" I say and FP holds me back. I shake them off and go outside to see Reggie
"Lily" he says
"WHAT THE HELL REGGIE?" I yell
"I wanted him to pay" he says and I slap him across the face
"HE DIDN'T KILL MIDGE AND PLUS WHAT WOULD KILLING HIM DO? IT'S NOT GONNA BRING HER BACK REGGIE! YOU JUST STARTED A WAR" I yell
"Lily" he sighs
"I CAN'T PROTECT YOU REGGIE, I CAN'T PROTECT YOU IF YOU'RE OUT SHOOTING SERPENTS. THEY'LL COME AFTER YOU, BLOOD FOR BLOOD" I yell and walk off
"I didn't shoot him" he says
"I saw you" I say
"But I didn't do it. Someone else was ready to kill Fangs" he says
"Whoever it was, is gonna pay" I say and grab his hand taking back ways to Pop's as I call Archie
"Lily" he says
"Reggie is with me, meet us at Pop's and you can take it from there" I say before hanging up
"I was gonna do it, if Archie hadn't stopped me. I think I would've" he says
"And what if you missed and got me?" I ask as we get to Pop's
"I would spend the rest of my life regretting it" he says

"Sweet Pea and the other Serpents are pissed" Archie says softly
"Yes because Mrs Klump shot Fangs and he is clinging onto dear life. Just like dad was" I say and we hear honking
"Guys outside" Kevin says and we all look out the window
"Serpents. They're coming for me" Reggie says
"Those aren't the Serpents" I say
"What?" Moose asks
"It's the Ghoulies" I say
"Ghoulies?" Reggie asks
"Call Jughead" I say
"EVERYONE GET DOWN AND STAY AWAY FROM THE WINDOWS" I yell and motion to Moose and Kevin to put something in front of the door I go out the back exit where some Ghoulies are waiting
"Well if it isn't Jughead's best friend" I hear Penny Peabody say as the Ghoulies grab me. and put me in the car.
"What do you want from me?" I ask
"I want Jughead to trade his life for two" she says
"Two?" I ask as we roll up and she pulls me out of the car
"Your little pink haired friend" she says and I see Toni
"Lily" she says
"Toni" I say and my wrists are tied in front of me and I'm forced to sit beside her while Penny calls Jughead and when she hangs up Malachai comes out
"And who might this one be?" he asks
"Lily Andrews, the best friend" Penny says as he gets in my face
"I might be the one with rope around my wrists but I warn you Malachai. If you don't get out of my face, I will make you" I say
"Oh, don't you have a sharp tongue" he says
"Get away from her and into position" Penny says and he leaves me alone just before Jughead gets here
