Chapter 20

"Hiya Jones" Penny says as Jughead makes his way to us
"Toni, Lily. You both okay?" he asks
"Jughead she's not alone" Toni says
"You said it was just gonna be the two of us" Jughead says
"I never go anywhere without back up anymore. Not after what you did to me... Besides, we need to talk, all of us" Penny says
"There's nothing to talk about. I'm taking Toni and Lily and we're leaving" he says
"Not so fast. I've been waiting to see again for a long time" Malachai says powering up a taser
"Get back you Hobgoblin" Cheryl says and we look up to see her with a bow and arrow
"I brought back up too. Like I said, I'm taking Toni and Lily and we're leaving" Jughead says
"Untie them, you Serpent hag" Cheryl says and Penny scoffs
"Fine, take them then. But remember when all your friends are dead, I tried giving you a chance" she says as Malachai unties us both. Toni runs around Jughead to Cheryl and I run to Jughead
"Why do you keep coming back? What do you want?" he asks
"The Southside, there's money to be made here in the town with pep. If you're not afraid of getting your hands dirty" she says
"So you partnered with the Ghoulies to sell drugs on the Southside?" he asks
"Bingo.. So here's the offer I want you to take back to your dad and to your tribe... The Serpents ship out tonight or it's a showdown with the Ghoulies at Pickens Park at dawn. I'm fine either way" she says before we head back to the Wyrm

When we get to the Wyrm, Sweet Pea checks me over and asks me if I'm okay over and over. Jughead tells everyone Penny's offer.
"It's time we end The Ghoulie scourge and that traitor Penny Peabody. Permanently" Sweet Pea says
"Sweet Pea, two hours ago. Your fight was with Reggie Mantle. And now you want us to go to war over territory we don't even control anymore? This is Hiram Lodges problem, not ours" Jughead says
"So you're just gonna hand Sunnyside Trailer Park, our home, to Penny and The Ghoulies?" Toni asks
"Toni, I don't want us to die. A rumble with the Ghoulies, it's a suicide run" Jughead says
"It's better than a cowards death" Sweet Pea says
"Don't call me a coward!" Jughead yells
"We have to defend ourselves" Sweet Pea yells
"That's enough" FP yells
"I just got a call from the Sheriff's office. Fangs uh.. He didn't make it, he's gone" he says and I go to the bathrooms
"Lily" Sweet Pea says following me
"I can't, I can't do it. It's my fault he got arrested. It's my fault he's dead" I say
"It's not your fault" he says
"He had a weapon on him to protect me, he got put in jail for that." I say
"He has a weapon on him to protect himself, you know that. He got put in jail because they thought he killed Midge. And you did what you could to keep him alive before he got to the hospital" he says looking me in the eyes
"This isn't your fault" he says before we head out to everyone else
"And we will mourn him, hell yeah we will. But first we will honor him" FP says and Sweet Pea holds me close to him
"From what I just heard, it sounds like we need to put it down to a vote" FP says
"All those against going to war with The Ghoulies?" he calls and no one, not even Jughead puts their hand up
"And all those for giving them hell on the battlefield tomorrow?" he asks and we all put our hands up except for Jughead who seems unsure.

We're outside the Wyrm waiting for FP to get back but when he does, I see my best friend in his arms and I feel rage bubble up inside of me as Sweet Pea pulls me into him bet I head to the place where I know who I'm looking for will be.
As I make my way up the Lodge apartment, I see just the man I'm looking for about to leave.
I push him against a wall and hold him there, my anger making me stronger than him.
"You made a deal with Jughead, you paid Penny and the Ghoulies, and if another one of my friends die tonight, I will be coming for you, and I will be spilling your blood" I say
"Lily, I don't know what you're talking about" he says
"THE HELL YOU DON'T!" I yell
"YOU'RE THE REASON REGGIE WENT AFTER FANGS, YOU WANNA KNOW WHAT WOULD BE GOOD FOR THIS TOWN MR LODGE? You leaving or your death" I say whispering the last part before leaving the Pembrooke making my way to the fight with The Serpents against the Ghoulies

3 Days Later

What Jughead did brought every Serpent out of the Woodwork.
It looked like we were gonna win but in the end there were just too many Ghoulies.
FP wouldn't have been able to stop any of us, even though Fangs is alive, despite what FP told us. But we wanted the Ghoulies to pay for what they did to Jughead. I got a few punches into Malachai and Penny.
Sunnyside Trailer Park fell, some of them are still standing but most of them burned.
After the rumble some of the Serpents defected. Some joined The Ghoulies, some got arrested, some went into hiding and the rest left town. We now cease to exist anymore as everyone is staying at the Wyrm.
Reggie and Josie dropped out of the Election along with Veronica, Betty and Jughead.
