Wandering Hearts (Under Editing)

Double Party

Elena squeals as I pick her up.

"Damon!" She giggles and pulls herself out of my arms. We run over to ski ball and I put a token in for Elena. She gets a ball then scores a 100. She smiles and hits 4 more 100's and 2 40's.

"Damn! How much do you play ski ball?"

"This is my second time." She giggles then pulls me in for a kiss.

"I love you Damon."

"I love you Elena." I get a text.

Get Elena home, party starts in 20 minutes.

Got it Barbie. Everyone there?

Yes and stop calling me Barbie.

NEVERRRRR!!!

I laugh then put my phone away. I grab all Elena's tickets and head over to the ticket thing.

"I'll take that one." I point to a fluffy white bear, and they hand it to me.

"Happy birthday." I hand her the bear then I swoop her in for a kiss. The people working cheer then we head out.

"I love my bear."

"Well I love you."

"Nicely done." We pull into the driveway then Elena looks at me.

"You do realize if you're planning on scaring me you could scare me into labor and then we'd loose our daughter right?"

"I'm not gonna scare you." I pull her into my side then we head inside where everyone stands.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY ELENA!!!!" She smiles then pulls me toward the dance floor.

"Also Elena this is your baby shower."

"That means it's Ember's party too." I smile at her. We slow dance for a little bit then we have cake. After cake, Elena opens her birthday presents first.

"From Caroline." She pulls out the card. Tears spring to her eyes then she pulls a box out. She opens it then she starts crying.

"Caroline it's beautiful." I help her put on a charm bracelet.

"From Bonnie." She pulls out the card then more tears come.

"You guys are determined to make me cry!" She smiles then lifts up my gift.

"This should be good." She pulls the card out of it's envelope then I smile to myself. Elena reads it and when she gets to the end tears are streaming down her face. I kiss her when she puts it down.

"I love you so much Elena." She wipes her eyes then she opens the box. She smiles at the locket in the box

"I had that done this morning." She opens the locket, seeing almost like a silhouette of us when the sun was rising, then another silhouette of us when I came back, forehead to forehead, our daughter between us. She flips it over seeing the inscription.

"Forever." I help her put it on, then she attacks me with a huge kiss.

"I love you too Damon." She opens the one from Jeremy which I enjoyed very much.

"I thought Ember would want some time with Uncle Jeremy and Aunt Bonnie while her parents are on a romantic getaway to Paris."

"Thank you Jeremy." Alaric made a hell of a joke for us.

"From Alaric to Damon and Elena. Both of us. This is to protect Ember from having a little brother or sister too soon." I look in the bag the I bust out laughing. I hand Elena the bag.
