Lily

I was in the airport waiting for my flight to Mystic Falls.

"Attention, Attention flight to Mystic Fall, please proceed to the airplane."

That was my flight, to finally go back and visit my brother and sister in Mystic Fall. I was excited to see them after not meeting them for the past 2 years, although I was sad because I came for Jenna and John's funeral.

I didn't know why Jenna had to die too, I mean my parents died and now Jenna too, that was way too much. Even Uncle John doesn't deserve to die, even if he's quite annoying sometimes. I didn't realized I was crying until I felt tears wetting my clothing.

After my crying fit, I felt sleepy so I slept in the plane. Suddenly I felt someone waking me up. The flight attendant then said "Ms, please prepare for landing in Mystic Falls, put your seat upright.". "Umm, Okay" I said sleepily. I was way too excited to sleep again anyway. I don't even know what to say to them anymore. I mean I came here for the funeral and to live with them, not to go on a holiday and have fun.

After we finally landed, I rushed out of the airplane and tried to search for a taxi. My sister was already in Mystic Falls funeral, waiting for me so I had to hurry up.

I had known aunt Jenna and John for a long time and I can't believe they died. So when I reached the funeral I saw Elena, Jeremy, Bonnie, Caroline and 3 other guys who I've never met before. "Hey sorry I'm late" I said to everyone. When Elena saw me, she ran towards me and continued crying. "They died Lily, they died!" Elena cried on my shoulder.

"I know I know" I comforted Lena trying to be strong and not breakdown. Suddenly a black-brownish haired guy broke our fluff and asked "And who might you be?" He asked smirking.

"Lily Gilbert" I told him annoyed. "What another gilbert?" He asked confused. The 2 other guys also had a confused face all over them. "Yeah, I'm Elena and Jeremy's younger sister". This was getting pretty annoying.

Elena

Everyone had left the funeral leaving me, Damon and Stefan alone. I was about to leave when Damon grabbed my hand "Elena, I'm sorry I fed you my blood please forgive me.". "Damon, I could have turned into a vampire because of you, I can't forgive you" I told him. Stefan had this sort of pained face like there's something they aren't telling me. "What's wrong?" I asked them. "Tyler Lockwood bit me" Damon told me pulling up his sleeve.

I felt horrible. I've already lost John, my biological father and Jenna, my aunt. I can't lose Damon too. "Hey. Hey don't cry, I shouldn't have told you this." Damon said regretting what he told me.

"We'll find something. A cure" Stefan said promising to Damon.

"There is no cure Stefan!" Damon said back growling.

"You've kept me human, right? We found the way when there's no way. Hey Damon look at me" I said cupping his face.

A/N: I hope you guys liked this chapter. I'm quite new in this fanfiction writing thing so some parts might not be perfect. Storylines and scenes might be pretty messed up but I hope it won't be a problem. Please comment and vote!
