Nidhi's PoV

So after the promotions, we asked the organiser if we can leave, and he said that we could. And here I am now, in my bedroom, searching for something red to wear. I don't have enough red because my favourite colour is blue.

Scrambling through the closet, I found a white paper bag, hidden carefully, at the back of closet. I took it out, and it was a F21 one. I opened it to see a beautiful reddish maroon outfit in it. It was probably Antra's. It was so beautiful. I laid the dress on the bed, and when I was looking at it, I saw a small part of something white coming out of the bag. I pulled it out, to see it was a letter.

I immediately recognised the handwriting and started blushing. I never needed to see who wrote it.

Hey beautiful,

So since I know that you don't like red, you must be turning your closet upside down to find one. But here I am, saving your time. I got my best friend this dress. I hope that you like it. And even if you don't, you have to wear it.

I smiled at the sweet letter. I put the the letter in my diary and started to get ready.

I took a short bath, wore my lingerie, and then I finally put up the dress on me. It beautifully rested just above my knees and at the back, it went a little below the knees. It was off-shoulder revealing some skin and it fitted perfectly at my waist. And from down there, it flowed till above my knees. I matched them with black stilettos. My makeup was cat eyes, mascara and maroon matte lips. I'm not a fan of glossy to be honest.

I walked downstairs, as I knew Darshan was already here. I heard him honk earlier. Antra was not home. Her and Chinmay went out on a date today.

I was out now, locking the apartment door behind me. I turned to see Darshan was getting out of the car to approach me. He was dressed in black pants, white shirt and a white blazer over it. He looked like an absolute angel. I found myself gawking at him when he came close to me.

"Like what you see?" He asked me with a smug smile.

"You look good!" I said.

"And you look like an angel that just dropped down from the heaven." He complimented me which had my cheeks go scarlet.

"Shutup." I said shyly.

He offered me his arm to hold, and how could I deny to such a beautiful gesture?

*******

We were in his car now, off to somewhere he decided not to tell me. I was curious but I wouldn't keep it evident.

"How much mor—" I begun, but the car came at a halt. I moved my head more towards the window to see if I could see where we are, but unluckily it was dark.

I heard him getting out of his seat and jogging towards my side to get me out. I instantly got out and turned on my heel to glance around. It was still too dark to see.

I locked my arms around his biceps and he walked further. At a far distance, I could see something glowing on the ground. As we went closer, the clearer it became. Those were fairy lights in many jars kept on the ground, as to decorate our path. In that dim of light, the surroundings felt recognisable.

We walked down the path to see a beautiful scenario. There was a huge mango tree, decorated with bulbs and fairy lights. There was a small, round wooden table covered in black cloth and two wooden chairs on its opposite side.

Overall, everything looked really beautiful. So much that I could sit here the whole night.

Oh, and the place, it was the hilltop where I once came with Darshan.

AN:
Felt like updating again, so here's another one. I feel like writing a lot these days, so hope for some fresh chapters to come.

I hope this isn't getting bored. I felt like the time lapse was necessary. I could not go into detail of everyday. Yes I'll show how their friendship grew, in some chapters as FLASHBACKS. I promise it won't be too confusing.

And I hope you like this chapter.
