Eve's P.O.V
I'm running through the forest enjoying nature until a pounding at my door wakes me up.
"Go away" I groaned.
I was falling back to sleep quickly until another pounding came, and the sound of my door opening afterwards. I peeked over my cover to see who dared to enter my room.
"Even, you need to get up" he said using the nickname he gave me as a child.
"Don't wanna" I huffed and brought the blanket over my head.
He didn't respond, but ripped my cover right off me. The cold air was piercing my skin like daggers.
"Corn what the fuck?, it's cold" I mumble curling up into a ball.
"You need to get up, so stop complaining" he looked down at me.
I huffed knowing I wasn't going to be able to return to sleep anytime soon, and made grabby hands at him. He sighed picking me up and I wrapped my legs around his waist as he carried me downstairs.
Cornelius is my best friend since childhood. This was our daily routine and I never got tired of it. We're close and most definitely inseparable, he's also my own personal beta. Making it downstairs he carried me into the kitchen and set me on a seat.
"Thanks hun for waking her. I'm sorry you have to do this everyday, but she only plays nice for you" my mother Amber said.
"It's not a problem mum" corn said.
"Good morning baby, how'd you sleep sweetie?" My mom asked while cooking breakfast.
"Good morning mom and it was ok,would've been better if you were to just let me sleep with Cornelius" I mumbled the last part.
