Chapter-6

Sorry for long updating!

--------------------

Those eyes. . . they look terrifyingly familiar. Oh god. Those red eyes are from my dreams!

Everyone gasped in horror to see why this cage held the biggest surprise. Inside was a boy of my age chained with hefty metals that zapped right back to all of the bars around him. Ripped up plaid red shirt, torn blue jeans, ragged brown converse. His skin was slightly a grayish-green color but it seemed to fade a brighter tone by the second. A black was placed above his mouth so that he was unable to speak in any way.

It burned my eyes. Sure the nightos ones were also in cages. . . but they are MONSTERS who I bet, won't even try to consider my ideas for peace. Just like the ice queen. All of her chances have been completely sapped up.

His gaze then turned to where Fiona and I had been standing and something changed in those red orbs. They grew somewhat softer. Almost happy, but at the same time, terrified and sad. He seemed very disappointed to see us. 'Maybe it's some kind of giant act? It's got to be, I mean, why would they tie this guy up without a reason like that?' I mentally said. I couldn't take my eyes off of him but soon enough had to when my hand was tightly squeezed.

I looked towards Fiona to see that she shared the same look as he did. It confused me. I whispered to her, "Fi-Fi! What's wrong? You look like you just had your monthly 'time' started up."

She punched me across the arm but shockingly, not in a friendly fun way. I don't see why she is so worked up over this little play. All of it is acting! I quietly muttered to her, "It's just an act Fi-Fi! Don't get so upset about it."

She once again hit me before hissing back through her teeth, "No it is not! This is for real which means he is how he looks literally. He is in pain and suffering! How could you be so stupid Gumball?!"

I looked at her surprised. She rarely ever called me something harsh like 'stupid' or even uses my literal name! It only happens when she is steaming mad. That's very dangerous to be around especially when she hits the mountain peek.

My eyes reconnected back to the boy as I finally took the situation in. "Why is he in there?!?!" I shouted. The mountaineers smiled and replied, "The reason for that sire, is like we said before. This is the special asset. The was to be King of the Nightosphere!!"

Although I thought it would unlikely to do so by now, everyone once again gasped and most started to back farther away. One of my people shouted out, "How dare you bring such beasts into our city?! Are you trying to get us all killed?!" Before I could stop him though, the rest of my citizens started sharing the same comments.

'THAT'S RIGHT!'

'GET THOSE THINGS AWAY FROM US!'

'KILL THEM ALREADY!'

'LET FIONA SLAY THEM!'

It actually turned my heart that some of my people would actually say such hurtful things even with the circumstances at hand. I guess it's too much for them to handle. But not me.

"SILENCE!!" I shouted causing the room to go fully silent like a shut door. Nervous sweat glands ran down my forehead as my mind fumbled on what to say next. I looked over to Fiona for help and she quickly caught on, "Our king needs resting," she started. "It's been a fun day but the morning will soon bring a new one so we should all prepare for it!" I finished.

The citizens glanced at each other before all letting it go and returning to their homes within the kingdom. My honored guests left to their specified rooms. All except the mountaineers. "Before you ask your highness, I would hope that you could try to 'make up' with this young man. You practically have all the pieces of Aaa at your feet and I would like it to stay that way."
