My eyes adjusted to the darkness as I tried to take in who it was. My first reaction was: It must be Chase right?! But in fact it was very much not Chase...

The attacker hid under a shrouded black hood, although the faint outline of dark hair poked out on one side by where their neck was. A girl? Chase had short hair, not hair like that, for certain...

The figure was swallowed by a dark cloak that melted into the shadows around them. In the darkness I could barely tell that she was there, it was mystifying. So much so, I forgot to be terrified, and concerned, and calling out for help.

''Hello... Auryon.'' The attacker said, as if tasting the name on her tongue and deciding she didn't really like the taste of it.

''Who are you?! And what did you do to Luna?!'' I felt a bit stupid for asking the last bit, obviously she'd been stabbed but why? And how had she been taken away so seamlessly?

''You will find out, all in good time. And don't worry about your friend, I poisoned her with one of my personal favourite mixes, it'll make her paralysed, but only for a bit, so you see we don't have much time.''

''Much time for what!? Who ARE you!? What do you want from us!?'' I shouted, trying to get the attention of anyone nearby, able to help us. Such as CHASE. Who just so happened to be missing.

''I want you to come with me. Not that you have much of a say in this anyway.'' She said calmly, drawing a curved blade off her back.

I lifted my hands and created two swirls of fire, trying to look as intimidating as possible to the girl. Only she laughed in a mocking way.

''You can't fight fire with fire.''

''You? Fire?''

She lifted her hands and created two swirls of fire to copy mine, only hers were more controlled and bright. And if I wasn't imagining it they had a tint of bronze to them.

''Well I uh-'' I stumbled on my words. If Fire couldn't harm her then surely water would, or earth, or air right? Yet the problem was, I didn't know how to use those. I guess learning on the job would have to do...

A concentrated look overtook my face as I tried to call on the air to push her back or do some 'cool air stuff that would really be helpful right now.'

''What are you trying to do, stare at me with that weird look until I die or what. You're going to be there a while.'' She sarcastically remarked, putting her flames out.

A small cold breeze touched my face giving me a fighting hope but it went away as soon as it came.

''Impressive, you'll have to teach me some time. You know for someone meant to end a war and be the most powerful person alive I really expected more...''

''Will you shut UP!''

As I shouted it was as if the wind was behind me. A gust of strong wind knocked her down while I remained unaffected. That felt AWESOME.

As much as I wanted to stand there and pummel this mystery girl into the ground all day she was already starting to stand up. This time she didn't look to be in a chatty mood.

I reached down to hoist Luna over my shoulder when a heavy foot tread down on my back; forcing me to the ground.

''Ow! Why are you so fast! No fair!'' I squirmed, realising how pathetic I must've looked. I tried to get some more wind to knock her over. But to my disappointment it did not work this time. Stupid luck.

''Lights out.'' She hissed as my face was smashed into the ground and everything went suddenly dark.

''Owwwww.'' I rubbed my head, trying to remember what had happened, I couldn't really remember. I sat upright, nearly banging my head on some sort of ceiling. ''Luna?!'' I called desperately. ''Onyx?!''

''Oh shut up will you.'' Said an unfamiliar voice from above me.

Painfully I opened my eyes, trying to gather my surroundings as my head spun. I appeared to be in some sort of small cage, but I was flying? There were bars all around me and shaky wooden floor below me and above me. My hands were chained together and the same with my ankles. This isn't good.

''"Uhhhgg, where am I?'' I groaned, looking down at the barren land far below me. The desert?!

''Didn't I already tell you to shut up?!''

I ignored him, realising there were light wing beats above me too. Several of them to be exact. Hmm. A lot of weird stuff had happened to me in the last week or so but now it was all coming back to me. Oh dear. I'm being taken away from the Light Kingdom aren't I? That girl knocked me out and now she's doing what she said she would:

'I want you to come with me. Not that you have much of a say in this anyway.'

Back to the Dark Kingdom... Agh! Why hadn't I realised that earlier. I needed to get out of here. My first idea was to melt off the metal bindings around my wrists and ankles but the heat did nothing but make them slightly warm.

Next I looked around for anything to bash them against. The bars wouldn't do anything and that was all there was. Out of ideas I looked through the bars and up, hoping to see something or someone useful.

There were about five massive red and orange flaming birds around me, each carrying a cage like my own. Each with someone in them. Immediately I spotted the light cloud coloured hair of Luna.

''Luna...'' I said in barely a whisper. ''Luna?''

Her head tilted slightly, still facing away from me, sprawled on the floor of her cage. Maybe she was still slightly paralysed. It didn't make sense they had taken her, the girl said she wouldn't. Then again why should I trust anything she said, she probably took her so there'd be no evidence. But then why not have just killed her? Unless she was already dead...
