Once the dismissal bell rang at 3:30 I rushed out to my car. I didn't even bother turning on the radio. I started to shake because I was nervous. Once I pulled up I turned off my car and got out. I walked inside not knowing if she was here. I looked around and saw her. I quickly ordered my pumpkin spice latte because I'm a basic white girl and sat down with her. "hi." I said. ''Veronica?'' she questioned. "Yeah" I responded. "Nice to meet you Hun, my son should be here any minute now." As if on Que Jonah walked in and my breathing hitched. "This is your son?" I asked "Yeah" she responded "Hey mom. Why is Veronica here I thought I was meeting my sister?" He asked his mom. "Oh, yeah this is your sister." "this ugly rat is my sister?" he questioned. His mother then slapped him. "I'm just gonna go now." I got up and awkwardly left. Jonah ran out after me and started to apologize for everything. He then told me to meet him tomorrow after school at the football field. I said ok and left.

School wasn't that bad today because anytime anyone would say anything Jonah would get protective. I was now at the field waiting for Jonah to show up. Once he did I asked why he wanted to meet me here. "I wanted to prove to you I am truly sorry. I want to take you out for a dinner tonight with the boys." I hesitantly accepted and then we both left.
