My True Love, My Mate

Chapter 2

"I can't believe this!" I shook my head, "An emergency meeting?! Over THIS?"

"I know, baby, I know," David put his arm around my shoulders. He and I walked across the street, where some of the guys were playing basketball in the driveway.

After a couple minutes, though, everyone was gathered in the basement- all 20 families. We rarely all get together, except for our once-a-month meetings and special occasions.

"So we all know why we are all here- three minors finding their mates, our least amount in 20 years, good job girls," Mr. Eurizone winked, "But also Miss O'Callahan having two mates. Ali, Billy, and Mike- will you all come up front?"

I sighed and rested my head on Dave's chest. No one talked while the three walked up to our Alpha, Ali in tears. All I wanted was to comfort my best friend.

"We need to decide what to do," Mr. Eurizone sighed, "I really can't banish a kid, but every other wolf with two mates in the past has been. Opinions, anyone?"

Mr. Silk spoke up, "Don't banish the poor girl! Change history- keep all of them!"

A chorus of 'yeah's were heard.

"Is that our final decision." Our Alpha asked.

"One," my dad spoke up.

"Two," Mrs. Baker chimed in.

"Three," Mr. Harrington finalized.

"Okay. Ali, you're staying in the pack," Mr. Eurizone spoke, softening his eyes. Ali was hugged by both her mates, while she was crying.

"You three can sit down," Alpha smiled, and they obeyed.

"Now, since we have had this meeting called, and our next one was scheduled for tomorrow, we should discuss our topic of tomorrow's meeting today, and cancel tomorrow's," Alpha paused, "Any objections?"

No one responded.

"Okay then. Michael, come up front, my son," Mr. Eurizone called up his only child. Soon enough, Rizzo was up standing next to his father.

"After Thursday's Mating Day, and you now have your mate, you are valid to become Alpha." Rizzo smiled in response.

"Mr. McClanahan, as the father of my son's mate, will you come up and help me in inaugurating my son?"

My dad got up, "I'd be honored to."

After calling upon the four gods of the wolves, Michael James Eurizone was now the Pack Alpha.

"Meeting closed, as long as no one else has anything else to say?" Rizzo asked. No one objected. "Okay then, let's party!" Everyone cheered. Typical Rizzo.

Most the pack adults walked to the basement's bar, others headed home.

Jimmy, Grace, Jack, Mack, Rizzo, Pav, Ali, and Buzzy joined with Dave and I.

"Yay Rizzo!" Grace cheered, giving him a hug.

"Yeah, congrats future brother-in-law," I smiled, causing Mack to blush and for Rizzo to chuckle.

"Thanks girls," she smiled.

At that point, Bah decided to turn on music, and all of us teens went up on the dance floor as we always do.

February 16th was a very successful Saturday.
