Louis' P.O.V
Liam leaned against the wall at the far end of the toilet, waiting for me to finish my business. I zipped my trousers up and went over to the sinks. I turned on the tap and soaked my hands in cold water, while Liam came to stand next to me.
“So, I was thinking, how about you and the boys come over to mine tonight? We can have pizza and watch a movie.” Liam suggested. I shook my head.
“No can do, sorry.” I told him.
“What? Why?” Liam asked. I hesitated; worried to tell him in case he got angry. But then I looked into his eyes and realised that he would understand.
“Well... I’m kind of going on a date... and, er... you’re coming too.”
“What?” Liam asked, confused.
“Okay, okay, there were some girls out there, and I thought they looked like nice, decent people, you know? One of them asked for a date, and I said yes. They seemed cool. Anyway, we’re going to the Nando’s in town at 6.”
“You do realise this is crazy?”
I nodded.
“And you want all the boys to come too?”
I nodded again.
Liam shook his head. “Louis, I’m not going on a date with girls I’ve never met before...”
“You have met them!” I protested. “They were the ones with the huge banner! And don’t deny it, I saw you hugging them!”
“Oh... oh yeah.”
“SEE?” I said, shaking my hands dry. “Please do this for me, Liam? We can’t not go, I told them I would.”
Liam hesitated, before reluctantly agreeing.
“Have fun asking the boys to come too, though.”
I laughed. “Seriously? Harry’s a flirt – he’ll go out with anyone; and Niall loves Nando’s.”
“What about Zayn?” Liam tried, grinning.
I winked. “They’ve got mirrors in Nando’s, big ones. And Zayn loves a good mirror to look in and gaze at his own beauty, doesn’t he?”
Liam laughed. “Alright, alright. Come on, we’re meeting more fans in ten minutes, and then we’ve got to get ready for our ‘date’, I suppose.”
I grinned. “It’ll be great, trust me...”
We went to find the other boys. I told them all the plan for the evening. Zayn and Harry seemed keen- but only if I paid for the meal. However, Niall shook his head.
“I’m busy tonight.” He said. “Me and Victoria are going to watch a film.”
“Ooh, la, la.” I joked. “Why don’t you just marry Victoria already? Or ask her out, at least.”
“I’ve told you a million times before.” Niall said, annoyed. “We’re just really good friends, I don’t like her in that way.”
“Anyway, Victoria can come to! Is that okay Niall?” I asked. Niall thought about it.
“Fine.” He said at last. “I don’t think she’ll mind.” Niall took out his phone and started texting Victoria, while I turned to face the rest of the boys.
“It seems crazy.” I said. “But trust me... they looked like cool girls. Nice, full of banter, cheeky...” I started to think about the one who’d squeezed my bum. She seemed really fun, and she was really pretty too.
Suddenly, I was just as excited as I ever had been for a date before.
