"Road trip!" Sam hollered, looking a little too excited.

"Why the hell did they leave the keys in here?" Leslie murmured.
"I'd never do that..."

"This seems too good to be true." Joelle added. Her lips were pressed in a tight line.

"Where are we going?" The innocent Johnny piped up. He sat on a booth in the back, with Sam across from him. Ezekiel, Joelle, and Kate sat on the couch, while Leslie was in the driver's seat, with Wayne next to her in the passenger side.

"Georgia." Leslie stated. She pulled the vehicle out of the driveway, onto the street. Cracks and decaying corpses, were strewn about it.

"My home state." Wayne said, a smile crossed over his facial features.

Leslie slowed the vehicle slightly, when she saw a figure limping down the road, with zombies seemingly chasing them.
Whoever they were, they were alive.

"Help me! Stop, please!" It was a man in his early thirties. He appeared to be heavily injured, and was barely able to walk.

"What do I do?" Leslie asked hurriedly.

"Stop, and help him!" Kate exclaimed. "Duh!"

"Fine." Leslie grumbled. She pulled over near the man, and opened her door slightly.
"Get in!"

"Thank you!" The man struggled to pull himself into the vehicle, but was able to do so.
He collapsed in the back of the rv, while Leslie slammed the door shut again. She stepped on the gas, and they went flying down the decimated street.

"Woah! Slow the hell down!" Sam grabbed the edge of the booth's table, to keep from falling over.
"You're gonna get us all killed! You crazy psycho-bitch!"

"Shut up, Sam!" Leslie snapped.

"Shut up, Sam." He mocked, imitating her voice, while wearing an irritated expression.

"I am going to throw your ass out the door, and let the zombies eat you!" Leslie was clearly angered. She gripped the steering wheel tightly.

"You wouldn't leave me to die, I know it. Even though you're a crazy bi-"
Leslie grabbed a glass that was sitting on the console. She threw it at Sam, hitting him directly in the head.

"Owww!" He whimpered. He fell on his side, holding a hand over his forehead.
He felt a warm liquid on his hand... A bloody gash was present.

Leslie was hit with guilt, but she turned her attention back to the road.

"That hurt, you know..." Sam murmured.

Leslie ignored him.

"Are you okay?" Joelle asked, looking at the man on the floor.

"Yeah, kinda," he groaned. "I'm Silas, by the way... Thank you for saving me, I'm grateful." He swallowed hard, and looked away.

"No problem." Kate smiled warmly, suddenly, her expression changed to one of shock.
"Oh shit! Leslie!"

A horde of zombies were milling around on the road.

"Also, I have something to tell you.." Silas said, he was practically shaking with fear.

"Hold on a sec," Leslie murmured.

Thump!

Thump!

Thump!

She ran over three zombies, at a high speed, sending them flying into a ditch.
Brownish blood stained the window.

"Okay, Silas," Leslie acted like nothing had happened.
"What's wrong?"

"I.. I.." He bit his lip, almost hard enough to draw blood. He rolled up his shirt sleeve, to reveal a blackening bite wound.
"O-one.. One of them b-bit me."

Leslie returned her attention to the road, with a grim expression.
"I'm sorry, but we're gonna have to-"

"Please don't kill me," Silas sobbed. "Please.. I-I want to live." He choked.

"I don't know what to tell you." Leslie swallowed hard.
"I'm sorry..."

"Well," Sam's cheerful demeanor was back.
"You can let me shoot you," he grabbed the shotgun he had used earlier.
"Or we can throw ya back out on the road!"
He flashed a goofy grin, and Silas looked like he was going to cry.

"N-no.. P-please.." Silas whimpered pathetically. Tears brimmed at his brown eyes.

"There's nothing we can do for you," Leslie stated.
"We've seen how the virus affects people. You can have a choice... Do you want us to leave you somewhere, and you'll eventually turn into a rotter?.. Or we can..." Leslie choked up slightly. "Or we can kill you."

"There has to be another option! Please!" Silas was panicking. His heart beat rapidly quickened, along with his breathing.

"Oh shit!" Leslie shrieked. A large zombie stood directly in the middle of the road.

"It's another fuckin' steroid zombie!" Sam took hold of the shotgun once again.
"I ain't gonna be scared this time!... Hopefully... Wait, what the hell is that?!"

"Our doom." Leslie gasped.....
