I am currently getting ready to go to that Austin guys concert with Ash, and I'm not going to lie, I was quiet nervous.
Not just because of how many people there will be around me, but to see him again since we're going to be right back stage.
"I feel like I'm going to throw up. Do I look okay? Do I smell okay?" I started rambling questions to Ash and she just sat there and looked at me like I'm stupid.
"You look and smell fine. Now come on Raven, we gotta be there before the crowd gets in the building if you want to avoid all the mess." She said pulling me out of the house.
———
"Okay, just follow me." Ash said and hopped out of the car.
As we walked closer to the building, the louder you could hear all the people waiting in line to get inside.
I could see some of them also, and just that bit was a whole lot of people.
I took a deep breathe and closed my eyes and breathed out slowly before I walked inside.
"Raven, you okay? Did you take your medication?" Ash asked grabbing my shoulder.
"I'm fine." I said to keep her from worrying.
"Ashton! And Raven isn't it?" I looked up from the ground and seen Austin smiling widely at me.
"Uh, yeah." I gave him a small smile and then I began to feel extremely dizzy.
"I'm glad you made it." He hugged me and his sent seemed to calm my nerves. I felt safe in his hug.
"If you need anything just let my boy over there know and he'll get you whatever. Same for you Ashton. Okay I have to go get ready now." He said and smiled at us and jogged away.
"Come on, let's start heading towards the stage." Ash said and lead the way.
"People are starting to come in!" Ash jumped up and down excitedly and I looked out there and there was loads of people filling the venue.
"Jesus, that's a lot of people." I backed away so they wouldn't see me.
"It'll be fine it's going to be fine. You know what." She turned away and left. She left me alone.
I started to bite my lip and fidget with my sleeves.
After a minuet she came back and had two beers.
"Here, loosen up." She said and handed me one.
I sighed and started drinking the beer.
——
Austin came out of his changing room and stood right by the entrance to the stage where Ash and I were and waved at me and smiled before going on stage.
Everyone began screaming and jumping and Austin closed his eyes and raised his arms.
"Okay, this song goes out to the stupid bitch that broke my heart." Austin said into the microphone and everyone screamed again and he lit a cigarette.
The lights went out and then the music started and purple spot lights shined onto the stage.
"Oooh I fall apart, oh yeah, mm. She told me that I'm not enough, yeah. And she left me with a broken heart, yeah. She fooled me twice and it's all my fault, yeah" As he sang, the more I could really feel and relate to his pain. I could see how much pain he felt as he sang.
The crowed was singing along and shined their phone flashes.
———
It came to the end of the show and he was singing his last song, which was called 'white Iverson'.
The whole concert was amazing and his voice was beautiful.
He came jogging off stage and he was all sweaty and a man came up and gave him a rag.
"What'd you think?" He asked me out of breath.
"It was amazing. I loved it." I said and smiled.
"It really was great." Ash agreed and smiled.
He looked at me and smiled widely. "Thank you. You guys hungry? We have like shit loads of food in back." He said taking a drink of water.
"Yeah, I'm starving." Ash said nodding.
"Yeah." I said.
"Okay, just follow me." He started walking down a hall and turned to his right into a room.
"And there's the food. I'm going to go shower real quick I'll be back, I won't take long." He said and left the room.
"Here's your plate." Ash said handing me a paper plate.
"Ill just get a sandwich. I'm not that hungry." I said putting the plate back.
"Are you sure?" She asked piling her plate with food.
"Yeah." I said and sat on the couch in the corner of the room.
"Okay, Hey guys." Austin walked into the room and grabbed some food.
"So, Raven, where you from?" He asked sitting on the other side of the room, which wasn't that far.
"Michigan." I said swallowing the sandwich that was in my mouth.
"What made you come to LA?" He asked grabbing a beer from a mini fridge next to him.
"Well, I moved in with her when I was like, 12, then when I turned 18 we decided we wanted to move out to LA, because we could I guess." I laughed.
He laughed also and nodded. "That's nice. Michigan is a nice place. From what I visited." He said standing.
"Anyone want to go out for a smoke?" He asked throwing his trash away.
"I do." I stood up and threw my sandwich rapper away.
I followed him outside behind the building. It was about 1 or 2 am, so it was pretty dark.
"Can I borrow your lighter?" I asked him.
"Yeah here you go." He handed it to me.
"Thanks." I said an gave it back and looked up at the moon.
"So you liked the concert?" He asked taking a long drag.
"Yeah. I had a lot of fun. I love your songs. And your voice is amazing." I said the last part a bit quietly.
"You think my voice is amazing?" He looked at me and smirked.
"Yeah, way better than I what can do." We both laughed and finished off our cigarettes and went inside.
"Hey, Austin we're going to head out now." Ash said standing from the couch.
"Okay. It was nice having to guys here, really." He said giving her a hug then me.
"Hey, could I get your number, maybe?" He asked grabbing his phone out of his pocket.
I blushed and nodded and grabbed his phone and typed my number in and handed it back.
"Thank you. I hope we can hang out sometime." He said smiling.
"Me too." I said.
Ash and I walked out of the building and as soon as I got into the car she turned towards me and smiled huge.
"What?" I asked and blushed.
"He likes you!" She squealed and started the car.
"Whatever." I rolled my eyes and turned on the radio.
