I walked into my apartment at three in the morning, not wanting to face an angry Shawn. I went into the kitchen and put my the grocery bags on the table. I started to put stuff away. I started to put everything away softly and quietly.

"Where the hell have you been?" I heard Shawn say. I turned to see a shirtless Shawn, only in his briefs.

"You should get sleep" I said putting away food

"Answer the fucking question" Shawn said

"Why do you care!" I yelled back

"Mom, Daddy why are you fighting" I heard Finn say

"Your dad and I just have a little disagreement. Go back to bed, babe" I said and Finn nodded walking away. I tried to walk past Shawn but he wouldn't let me go.

"I'm going to put him in bed" I said

"What are you hiding from me?" Shawn asked

"What are you hiding from me!?" I said

"I was out! Why does it matter" I said

"Because I care about you and I have been trying to contact you!" Shawn yelled at me

"If you care about me then start telling me the truth" I said pushing past him

BEFORE

"This is your place" I asked Charlie as I looked around the amazing house.

"It's pretty sick, right?" Charlie asked as he grabbed wine out.

"It's been four years" I said

"You left me...why am I even here with you" I said

"Sam....oh Sam. If Shawn wasn't there I would be with you. I bet we would be married" Charlie said handing me a glass.

"The thing is I was young and dumb so I want any amount of money" Charlie said sitting down on the fancy white couch.

"Money for what?" I asked

"Well that day at the diner.....I did truly leave when I freaked out....but staying away from you wasn't really my choice. If I has it my way I would be with you and -" He said

"Finn" I said

"And Finn but Shawn's parents paid me. But then he would keep meeting with me to make sure I knew stay away. Recently he even saw me at the store and he told me to get out of town. I was stupid and I needed money but I shouldn't have and I'm here saying sorry" Charlie said

"What" I said starting to cry. He put his glass of wine down and getting up.

"I've been with the wrong guy the whole time" I said and Charlie just stood there

"I'm sorry, I was young and stupid. I put money before love" He said. I ran over to him and gave him a hug. He picked me up and kissed my forehead as we sat down.

"I don't want to go home now" I said

"You can stay here...I can get a room for Finn" Charlie said

"I'm a mess" I said

"I'm stuck...really" I said crying into his chest

"I'm glad I found you" Charlie said moving my hair back.

"Do you need to take a nap?" He asked

"Probably" I said

"You'll be there when I wake up, right?" I asked

"I will" Charlie said messing with his hair

"Having you been seeing anyone?" I asked

"Not for year" He said
