"So how are you and Eddie doing?" I asked as we were walking through the mall

"We aren't dating" she said fixing her glasses

"I know but what have you guys been up to?" I said laughing

"What have we been up to?" She asked laughing

"Should we go in here?" I asked Tori while pointing at forever 21. She nodded her head. We went in and I immediately saw Paisley and her friends.

"We can go to another store" Tori said

"I'm fine" I said and Tori just nodded her head

"Sam!" I heard Paisley day and I groaned

"How are you? I heard that Jack and you aren't friends anymore?" She said coming over to me with her friends

"Ya, we aren't" I said walking away

"I heard your dating Mendes?" One of her friends asked. I turned around to see Paisley in shock.

"Wait are you serious?" Paisley asked

"Yes, Shawn and I are dating" I said

"For how long?" She asked

"2 weeks. We just started dating" I said and she just smiled.

"Are you guys leaving for spring break?" She asked

"Yes, I need to get far away from you" I said laughing and walking out of the store with Tori.

"I'm just going to go home. I'm not really in the mood to shop" I said and Tori just nodded.

"I have to get up early tomorrow for the cruise" I said

"Okay, just text me later" she said and I nodded my head and walked out to my car. (Yes, they took separate cars)

I was laying in bed looking up at the ceiling. I heard my door open and I sat up to see my mom standing there.

"Are you still thinking about Jack?" She asked me

"Well in the fact that I miss him. I just miss my best friend but all he has been doing is acting like a protective boyfriend. But he doesn't need to play that role. That's Shawn's role" I said

"He loves you, hun. But you need to start packing. We leave early tomorrow to meet up with the rest of the gang" she said and gave me a hug before she left

SHAWN'S POV

I was sitting on the couch with Matt, Nash, Cameron, Carter, and Jacob. We were playing Xbox and drinking.

"I'm going to college party tonight you guys should come with" Nash said while getting another beer.

"Will there be girls?" Cameron asked Nash

"Oh yes! Bunches of college girl. Probably not a lot of clothes either" Nash said taking a drink of his beer. I just looked at Jacob and laughed

"I down" Carter said

"Same and I bet Cameron is down" Jacob said

"I am! What about you, Mendes?" Cameron asked

"I got a bad to pack. I also have a girlfriend to tend to. I need to get sleep also so I'll pass on this one" I said and leaned back in my chair.

"Why are you even dating her?" Cameron groaned

"Because she is hot! Have you seen that girl. Shawn is a lucky bastard" Nash said

"She not that hot" he said

"You must have the wrong girl then, Cam" Carter said. I heard the door open and I saw Jack Johnson and Gilinsky.

"I invited them. Hopefully that's okay" Carter said and I glared at him. Johnson was just glaring at me.

"Well I'm going to get going" I said grabbing my coat off the couch.

"Where are you going? You said you could stay for like an hour more" Cameron said and of course he would say that.

"I have a girlfriend to ummm help pack" I said getting up and looking at Jack

"Are you really scared of me?" Johnson said laughing

"No, I don't want you to come near me or Sam. Because I'm done with you fucking up her mind. She doesn't need you in her life so I'd prefer to stay far away from you" I said and he laughed

"I'd love to see you and Sam actually work out" he said.

"You'll hurt her because you are you and you always cheat. Then she won't have any arms to run to and my arms are completely open so she will come right back to me" Jack said

"I'm leaving" I said and I went out to my car.

I got back to Sam's house and I knocked on the door. Her mom answered the door with a big smile and this is why he mom is the best.

"Hey, Shawn. You guys just went home today and you already are back" her mom said laughing

"Ya, I just love your house" I said laughing

"You know where Samantha is" She said letting me in. I went to Sam's room, I opened the door to see her trying to fit everything in her suitcase.

"Do you need help?" I asked her and she turned around and laughed.

"Hey beautiful" I said and I kissed her

"I thought you were staying at the boys house for a little longer" she said

"Ya, I just left. Wanted to see you" I said and I flopped onto the bed

"What happened?" She asked

"Nothing" I said sitting up and she looked puzzled

"Tell me" She said as she kept packing

"Johnson showed up and was being a prick" I said and she groaned

"Well I saw Paisley at the mall. So I guess we both didn't have good luck" she said and I got up and kissed her. She kissed back and I could tell she was smiling. Just then her mom came into the room and we pulled apart.

"Hun, Jack is here" Sam's mom said. I became really stiff....I didn't like that fact that he was here. He probably doesn't even know that I'm here so the fact that he came to talk to her is pissing me off.

"I don't want to talk to him" she said and I put my arm around her waist.

"I invited him in. He is sitting on the couch. At least talk to him, Samantha" Her mom said and then she left the room.

"Come with me" she said

"I'll wait up here. I don't want to get involved" I said and she kissed me.

"I'll continue packing your bag" I said with a wink as she walked out the door
