3 weeks later
"Mom, why are you in the bathroom?" Finn said
"No reason" I said staring at the positive pregnancy stick. I didn't know if I should be happy or scared. Charlie had always wanted a kid and with me. I opened the door and put the stick behind me.
"Charlie said he is taking me out for ice cream" Finn said. I put the stick in my pocket.
"He is probably going to ask you what you want for your birthday" I said laughing
"You know what I want, mama" Finn said
"Oh yeah you want a friend" I said laughing
"yeah, I want another person to live with us" Finn said
"Like a?" I asked
"Hey Finn. The car is started all meet you in the car" I heard Charlie say from the living room.
"I'll see you later, mom" Finn said leaving
CHARLIE'S POV
"Mommy said you were going to ask me what I wanted for my birthday" Finn said laughing as we were eating ice cream.
"What do you want" I said and he laughed
"A friend" He said
"Well you will be starting pre school soon so you will meet some friends" I said
"No, like a friend that lives with us" He said licking his ice cream.
"What are you asking for, Finn" I said
"I want to be an older brother" Finn said pouting
"You want a sibling?" I asked
"yes" Finn said
"That isn't that easy....your mom doesn't want another one" I said laughing
"But do you?" He asked and I just laughed
"Yes, I would always take another you" I said laughing
We got home and it was late....I took Finn out to a movie also. I think Sam is sleeping so I put Finn to bed. After I put him in bed....I went to check on Sam and she wasn't in her room. I heard shuffling in the kitchen. I went to the kitchen to see Sam sitting on the counter.
"What's up?" I asked
"I'm just hungry" She said
"Do you want me to make you something?" I asked
"I just really want muffins" Sam said
"I can go get some" I said taking the car keys out of my pocket.
"Wait...I need to tell you something" She said
"Please don't get mad" She said
"I won't" I said grabbing her hands.
"Oh sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt" Rosie said coming in. I let go of Sam's hands.
"I just came here to get the check and find out what Finn wanted for his birthday" Rosie said
"Oh here is the check" Sam said grabbing it off the counter
"All I know is he wants to be an older brother" I said leaning against the counter
"We can give him this" Sam said holding out a pregnancy stick.
"Oh yes" Rosie said with a smile
"We are having a kid?" I asked
"Don't get mad" Sam said
"I know we aren't dating but I'm keeping the kid and I happy about this kid" She said
"I'm not mad! I'm beyond happy" I said and she smiled
"I'm going to go but congrats" Rosie said smiling
"I'm going to be a dad!" I said
"Our kid is going to look adorable" I said smiling. I kissed Sam and she kissed back.
"Will you be my girlfriend?" I asked
"Yes" Sam said with a smile
NEXT DAY
I woke up to hear music in the kitchen. I heard laughter and I jumped out of my bed. I walked down stairs to see Sam and Finn in the kitchen dancing.
"I think you are burning the bacon, mommy" Finn said
"Shit" She said
"Baby!" I said walking into the kitchen
"Sorry" She said
"Well I burned the bacon for the fourth time this morning" She said throwing the bacon out
"My birthday is tomorrow" Finn said smiling and I just laughed
"You excited for your birthday party?" I asked
"I want a big cake" Finn said laughing
"Your mom and I have an early birthday gift" I said and Sam looked at me
"Right now?" She asked
"Yep" I said grabbing a present.
"I can open it" Finn said as I gave it to him. Sam walked over to me and grabbed my hand.
"Yes, you can" I said with a smile. He started to open the box. He took the lid off the present and pulled out the pregnancy stick and looked at it puzzled.
"I thought you were going to give him a note or something. That's gross, Charlie" Sam said and I just laughed. Sam took it and put it in her pocket.
"Give my present back" Finn said
"Baby, it's the meaning of it...not the actual thing" Sam said
"Finn, we don't have the present yet but it will be here in less than nine months" I said
"What is it?" Finn said wining
"You are going to be a older brother" Sam said
"Really" Finn said starting to cry
"Yes, baby" Sam said and Finn came and hugged us.
"This is the best present ever" Finn said crying even more
"I'm glad you are happy" I said and he just smiled at me
"Well we need to go get decorations for the party tomorrow, right?" I said and he nodded
"Go get dressed then and we will go" I said and he ran out
"Thank you" Sam said giving me a hug.
"Sam, I know we just started dating but you already know that I love you and Finn. I would do anything for you guys" I said and she started to cry
"Babe, when I first put eyes on you I knew that I wanted you...I was glad when you wanted me" I said messing with her hair.
"You should get ready though because you need to help" I said kissing her forehead. She looked at me and smiled
"You are amazing" Sam said and got up and went up the stairs.
"I'm dressed" Finn said and I laughed
"What theme are we going for, buddy?" I asked
"Cars?" We both said and Finn laughed
"Can we get a car piñata?" Finn asked
"Yes" Sam said coming back into the kitchen
"You aren't even dressed, Charlie" Finn said laughing
"I have to go get dressed" I said
"We will meet you in the car" Sam said
