-4 years later-

"It's time for bed" I said to Finn who was sitting on the floor playing with toys.

"But mom! I don't want to sleep!" Finn said

"Go brush your teeth now" I said and Finn got up and went to the restroom. I started to pick up the toys and I heard the front door open.

"DAD!" I heard Finn yell.

"Hey, little dude" I heard Shawn say from the kitchen. I put the rest of the toys in the bin and walked down to the living room.

"Finn, go brush your teeth" I said

"But I don't want to! I want to hang out with dad!" Finn said

"Finn" I said

"I'm not going" He said sticking his tongue out at me

"Finn, listen to your mother" Shawn said

"No!" Finn said laying on the floor and rolling around

"Fine, you aren't going to the water park with your uncles tomorrow" Shawn said

"Fine, I'm going" Finn said getting up and running to the bathroom

"Hey gorgeous" Shawn said giving me a hug

"How was work?" I asked

"It was work" he said giving my forehead a kiss

"Are you going with the guys tomorrow?" I asked

"Well I'm going boating with Jacob, Carter, and Nash" Shawn said grabbing a water out the fridge.

"Are you going with Finn to the water park?" Shawn asked

"Nope, Johnson and Gilinsky wanted it to be a boys day....Taylor might be joining" I said leaning against the table

"I don't want you to be alone. You want to join us?" Shawn said

"I'll be fine" I said

"You sure?" Shawn asked

"Dad! Can you tuck me in tonight!!" Finn yelled from the bathroom

"Sure. I'll be there in a second" Shawn said

"You want to make another kid tonight?" Shawn asked and I just playfully pushed him.

"No more kids till I'm married. I told myself that" I said and he looked confused

"So you want a ring?" Shawn said

"Not now....but I'm not having kids till I'm married" I said rolling my eyes

"You mean you aren't having any more till you are married?" Shawn asked

"Yes, that is what I mean" I said

"DAD!" Finn yelled

"Coming" Shawn said walking away

NEXT DAY

SHAWN'S POV

"She wants a ring" I said sitting on the boat with the guys

"Then put a ring on it" Nash said sitting back and taking a drink of his beer.

"We aren't even really dating" I said

"What do you mean" Elizabeth, Carter's girlfriend said

"I've taken her on dates and we have sex....live in the same apartment.....kiss and call each other cute nicknames but we aren't really dating" I said

"Why haven't you asked her to be your girlfriend?" Jacob said laughing

"I'm scared that she will say no or say she is seeing someone" I said
