Ella sat in her squeaky chair. She heard a voice from down the hall "Ella come walk the dog." Ella quickly yelled back "I'm busy doing homework mom." Immediately the problem was no more. Ella leaned back in her chair and sighed. Tomorrow is the first day of the second semester, she thought. She put her hand over her eyes. A buzz flooded in. How annoying. It stopped when a notification on her computer came through. Ella propped herself up. She saw a familiar name on the screen with the message 'go walk your dog.' Ella quickly scanned her room. She typed frantically while writing the message 'HOW DID yOu?!' No more than 40 seconds later she got a reply '>:D mwahahahahaha.'

The conversation continued pretty normally till Ella got a message.
Friend: Did you hear about the merge?
Ella: Is that a new movie? :p
Friend: -o- no how our school bought another school.
Friend: ...and now the students from that school are being transferred to our school.
Ella: oml. :-0
Friend: yeahhh..
Ella: OooOh! with all the new boys coming you might finally get a boyfriend!
Friend: -_- I'm going
Friend has gone offline
Ella: chicken

The room was silent once more. Ella thought about the merge, the new school, the new students. And Ella thought, maybe there will be a cute new boy there. Just maybe.
