I stood next to Shuri as we watched everyone converse. I became nervous as T'Challa walked towards us.

"I'd like to steal my future wife from you Shuri." He said as she playfully rolled her eyes.

"Go ahead but bring her back." She said as I placed my hand in his.

"You're nervous. Breathe." He whispered into my ear as we danced softly to the music.

"I can't help it. I mean you haven't even proposed yet and people are already calling me Queen of Wakanda." I said as I briefly looked at him.

"That's because they respect you as their queen and as a woman. They think of you as brave and  courageous for overcoming Killmonger." He said as I blushed.

"What do you think of me?" I asked as I stared at him intensely.

"Words can't describe you. It'd be too many to use." He said as he gently kissed my lips.

As if on cue, the press started to take pictures of us. I hid my face as I blushed from embarrassment and being heated by the kiss.

"I think that's enough dancing for the night." He chuckled as I moved my face.

As the night went on, I was having a great time. I noticed that T'Challa wasn't in the room anymore.

"Where did he go?" I mumbled as
my eyes scanned the room.

"Everyone, King T'Challa has an important announcement!" Okoye says.

"I'd like to thank everyone for coming out and celebrating Reign and I surprise engagement party. Reign can you come here please." He said as I made my way to him.

"I know some people may judge us for getting married so soon but I can't help the way I feel about you and I know you feel the same. So, I'd like to ask you: Will you marry me Reign?" He stated as he held my left hand.

"YES!" I shout as everyone cheers.

I smiled as he slid the ring onto my finger and kiss him. I giggle as he spins me around and places me back down.

"Nakupenda. (I love you)" I whispered.

"I love you too." He replies as my dad makes his way over to us.

"Congrats baby cakes." My father says.

"Thanks daddy!" I said as we hugged.

"My King, may I have a word with you." My father said as I smiled at T'Challa.

"Sure. Right this way." He said as I kissed his cheek.

"Don't be too harsh dad. Good luck T'Challa." I said as I watched them walk away.

"Congrats Reign, I'm so happy to say that I'm your mother in law now." Queen Rowanda says as we hug.

"I know my mom and you are excited to start planning." I said as my mom walked over.

"Of course we are darling, we are happy for you both. Congrats baby." My mom said as we hugged.

"Thanks mom, and thank you as well Queen mother." I said.

"Please call me mother. We're family now." She said as I smiled.

After the party died down, I decided to walk through the garden.

"Okoye can you walk with me through the garden?" I asked.

"Of course my queen." She said as we walked out.

"There's something on your mind?" She asked as I touched a red rose.

"What if I don't make a good Queen? What if I fail to meet T'Challa needs? Or how will I please the people of wakanda without slipping?" I ask as I took a deep breath.

"You'll be fine. Just breathe and take one step at a time." She said as she hugged me.

"Thanks Okoye." I said.

After all the partying, I wanted to relax and cuddle. I stripped out of my clothes and walked to the shower.

"I hope my dad wasn't too hard on you." I spoke out loud as I stepped into the hot water.

"No, actually he's a funny guy but I can tell he's serious about us." He said as he stripped out of his clothes and stepped into the shower.

"Good. I had a good time tonight." I said as I glanced at my ring.

"Me too. I'm just ready to sleep." He yawned as I giggled.

"I thought you never get tired, Black Panther." I said as I kissed his jaw and neck.

"Mm, I do at times and tonight is one of them." He replied as he squeezed my waist.

"Ok, I guess that's fair." I said as I washed my body.

I laid my head against his chest as we laid in bed. I yawned as my eyes closed.

"Good night." I whispered.

"Good night." He replied as I drifted to sleep.
