I paced back and forth as my mother and mother-in-law talked about Reign's sickness.
"Son sit down, Reign is going to be fine." My mother said.
" I know she's going to be fine but I need to know what's wrong with her." I said as she walked into the room.
"Hi everyone, I know what's wrong with me." She said as I stopped pacing.
"You do?" Her mother asked.
She shook her head in response before smiling.
"I'm pregnant. I just know it." She said as a smile crept onto my face.
Excitement wasn't the correct word to explain how I was feeling in that moment. I couldn't believe that I was going to be a father soon.
"Did Bast visit you in a dream?" My mother said
"Yes but I am not allowed to share the details in fear of ruining our future." She said before looking at me with a smile.
I couldn't contain myself, I am beyond happy. Our mothers were happy for us but mainly because there'll be a new addition to the family.
"So... I'm going to be a dad? Wow..." I said as she hugged me.
"We're going to parents and it'll be amazing." She whispered to me as I laughed uncontrollably.

Everyone else was confused about me laughing at this blessing but I couldn't hold it in any longer. My happiness was my reason for laughing.
"Sorry. I couldn't hold that in any longer. I'm just so happy." I said as Reign's expression changed from confusion to happiness.
