Even though I was King, I hated to have early morning meetings. I always tried my best to get the job done but it's hard when you're barely sleeping.

Reign sat beside me in the throne room. A few of the elders questioned Reign's ability to rule with me. I hated it because she was a good Queen and Mother.

"So you felt like someone was watching you but didn't say anything to your husband? What kind of woman is that? Huh? What kind of Queen would slip like that?"

"I did tell him and when he looked at the cameras no one was there. But... I know for a fact someone was watching me and that they don't have good intentions. Whoever it is, they're an evil individual. And please with all due respect to everyone in here, don't ever question my ability to rule as Queen and my ability to be a Mother." Reign said with a look of anger on her face.

"Well if you know that someone is watching you, why didn't you try to look for them? Leaving them is only going to cause harm. I really think King T'Challa should reconsider you as his wi—"

"ENOUGH!! No one else dare say anything else about Reign. She is a good woman, Queen and most of all Mother. Hell she makes sure everyone else is straight before she takes care of herself. So please do not ever say anything else bad about my wife in my presence or not. Meeting adjourned, we'll pick up tomorrow morning." I said.

Feeling a hand on my shoulder, I looked up and saw my mother. I sighed because I was never a man to lose my temper. Lately I've been feeling overwhelmed and I needed a break.

"Maybe you two should go take a break? Hmm? You both are stressed out and overwhelmed. I think it's best, besides I can't have you both on a rampage. Go take a break, I'll handle things here." My mom said.

"Ok. I'll book the flight for tomorrow evening. That's ok with you babe?" Reign asked.

"Yes." I replied.

An hour passed, and Reign and I were fully packed for tomorrow's trip. My mom was right we desperately needed a break. The time seemed to passed by slowly and I wished it would go faster.

"You've become very impatient baby. I'm glad you're mom told us to go on a vacation." Reign said.

"So I've noticed. I don't understand why I've become like this but hopefully this vacation will help. Can you bring that purple lingerie set I like? I think it'll help me relax and relieve some stress." I said smiling.

She laughed before walking towards me. I leaned back on my elbows. Biting my lip, I watched as she climbed on my lap.

"I already packed it and a few others. I wish time would go faster. I'm ready to feel some warm weather and some sand." She said playing with my necklace.

"Me too. I don't remember if I packed a pair of swim trunks or not. Let me double check." I said as she moved to sit on the bed.

After double checking our suitcases, we were finally boarding the private jet. My adrenaline must've been at a high because I felt excited. I just hope Reign and I can finally relax and catch a break.
