Saihara's POV:
I couldn't believe it. We uncovered the mastermind. We'd be able to leave... right? I smile a bit to myself. Kaede's wish... it would come true. I actually was able to fulfill it. Me and Ouma actually caught the mastermind.

No... I shouldn't jinx myself. Getting my hopes up that quickly isn't going to happen.

Tsumugi led us to the bathroom. The first floor girl's bathroom near the dining hall. As Ouma said earlier, apparently this was a passageway to the secret room. "Come in here," she says as she gestures us inside.

"Ooh! The girl's bathroom!" Ouma exclaims excitedly, hopping up and down like he was a little kid. I don't know how he's able to be so calm and playful in a situation like this. We might as well be walking to our death for all I know, an he makes a joke?

"Oh, please." I put a hand on his shoulder., looking at him. Tsumugi walks in, then Ouma, then me. There were larger matters to consider than that anyway. Why is she taking us here? Why is she revealing the truth?

Tsumugi walks to the end of the bathroom, where the storage closet is. We all see it- Ouma was right. There was a door behind it. Tsumugi takes a step to open it and leads us all inside.

"Woah! So this is the secret room, isn't it?" Ouma asks in delight.

"Seems so," I reply. In the center, there's a Monokuma head, but it's made of bunches of wires. It's probably the Monokuma-making machine that I remembered was mentioned before... Rantaro's death. I ignore it for the time being and glance at the rest of the room. The secret room that we all strived to find is... this? There's what seems to be a couch, and a bloody Monopad on one of them.

Bloody Monopad... Rantaro's Monopad?

"Anyway... " Tsumugi says while putting her hands on her hips. She seems to tower above us somehow. Then a deranged look of insanity suddenly takes the spot of the once seemed to be an innocent girl. "Let's get this going, shall we? You... no, everyone wants to know the truth, right?" I want to know the truth. Ouma wants to know the truth But...

Is the truth... really the answer I want to know?

"So, you attempted to kill Ouma because you thought he would catch on to your being the mastermind," I conclude.

"That's my point! I couldn't let Kokichi get away alone, nor have him side with Sweet Saihara here either... You would ruin Danganronpa forever!" Tsumugi claims with very little logic.

I narrow my eyes. "And... you did this all for a TV show?"

"Danganronpa is the most popular show right now! It's literally the best form of killing entertainment!" Tsumugi looks up in wonder and sighs happily. "Being part of the team who produced the killing games was my dream since I was kid. I'm so glad it finally happened! Ahh..."

"No... what kind of person would enjoy this?" I ask in disbelief. A state of pure shock has risen in the air, only to be complimented by Tsumugi's confidence to bring us despair. Wait, why does that rhyme...?

"Ahaha... you of all people should know, right Kokichi?" Tsumugi laughs teasingly.

"O-Ouma...?" Ah, right. He was a fan of the show himself.

"And not just him. You too, Shuichi! Not to mention everyone participating in the killing game! They all wanted to join, so we let them," Tsumugi smirks.
