Yeah yeah I'm also Riverdale trash lol.
THIS WILL CONTAIN WARNINGS FOR RIVERDALE SEASON 2 EPISODE 22
//Jughead's POV
It was exactly two weeks away from prom and I still haven't asked Betty to be my date. Archie had gotten Veronica a dozen red roses and chocolate covered strawberries to ask her. Moose gave Midge a stuffed animal, which was ironically, a moose. I, Jughead Jones, had done nothing. In case you haven't noticed, Betty and I aren't like normal couples. We decode hit-lists and hunt down serial killers for dates.
I could always just ask her with a big speech, saying how much she means to me and sappy stuff like that. I mean we already confessed our undying love for eachother, started the best night of a young boy's life. Only to get interrupted by the Serpents, and I still complain weekly about that, I'll have you know.
I could get her food, which is what I would personally want. Just saying, I wouldn't care if Betty asked me to prom if I got a burger and milkshake out of it. I could get her some fancy cupcakes like Veronica, or some cheese fries from Pop's that I'll end up stealing.
The point is, I have no clue. I've asked Veronica but she kinda left me out to dry. I would ask Toni, but last time we talked Betty thought we were together so that's not really an option now is it?
"Juggie? You okay?" Betty lightly shook my shoulder.
"Yeah I'm fine... Just doing a bit of thinking." I said lightly, not wanting to scare her.
We were laying in my bed, her wearing one of my t-shirts and me in a white tank. We were cuddling, as manly as that sounds, but hey! Jughead Jones the third could cuddle with his girlfriend as he pleases.
"Thinking about what?" Betty asked, her voice laced with concern.
"Nothing bad Bets, just about us... How happy being with you makes me." I kissed the top of her head as she turned in my arms to face me.
"Promise me if anything's bothering you, you'll tell me?" Betty batted her eyelashes at me.
"How could I say no to that face." I smiled and kissed her nose.
We shared a long, passionate kiss before Betty's phone started to ring.
"Mama Cooper, why must you spoil our fun." I threw my head back, letting out a sigh.
"It's Veronica..." She droned off.
"What does Princess Lodge want?" I groaned.
"Hey V, what's up?" Betty answered the phone, shooting me a teasing look. I put my hands up in a surrender when it finally came to me. I knew how to ask Betty to prom.
"What? Are you joking me? Yeah we'll both be right over." Betty said, hanging up the phone.
"I thought we were done being the Teenage Dectectives." I droned.
"We are, it's a family issue Juggie. She needs both of us for our support." She nudged my shoulder with a smile.
"Hand me a pair of your sweats? Your clothes are comfy." She looked up at me with pleading eyes.
"Fine, fine, just don't let Mama Cooper see you in my shirt God forbid." I chuckled as she smacked my arm.
With her Betty Cooper charm, she made it look like she wasn't even wearing my sweats.
We jumped on my motorcycle and headed to Ronnie's place, bringing over some Pop's to make her feel better.
We were welcomed into the Pembrooke with open arms and an emotional Veronica.
