Becca's POV

I hadn't talked to Tippi since I found out she was hanging out with Jess. We absolutely hated that bitch, so why would she go behind my back and hang out with her? Oh God, what if she was replacing me? I mean, I was sneaking around with herboyfriend. What if she knew and just wouldn't tell me she did? I loved Tippi, I really did, she was my best friend, but there was just something about Jimmy that made me want him. And it was obvious that he wanted me. I just didn't know what to do. This was so conflicting. Maybe I should just tell her straight up. It'd probably be the better thing to do instead of continuing to sneak around behind her back. I'd tell her first and then break the news to Matt. I'm not in love with you anymore, Matt. This relationship just isn't the same as it used to be. How would I tell that to someone I'd been in a relationship with for six years? It wouldn't be easy. What if it tore him apart? First I had to focus on Tippi. I'd call her and see if she had time to meet up.

I grabbed my phone and called her. It went straight to voicemail. I sighed and hung up without leaving her a message.

“Fuck, Tippi, what's with you not answering my calls?” I sighed to myself.

Maybe Jimmy knows where she is. I dial his number and he picks up instantly.

“Hey, babe.” I bit my lip. That was new.

“Hey. Is Tippi with you? I tried calling her but she won't answer.”

“No she left yesterday. Haven't seen her since.”

“Left? What do you mean left? Where'd she go?”

“She just left. I don't know where she went. Why?”

“Oh you know, just wanted to see how she was doing.”

“Are you sure that's why?”

“Yes,” I bit my lip.

“Becca I'm not stupid. I know you're going to tell her about us.”

“Well what else am I supposed to do? The guilt is killing me, Jimmy.”

“Let her find out herself.”

“And ruin our friendship? No, Jimmy. I can't lose her.”

“If you're so willing to screw around with me behind her back, then you're not afraid to lose her.”

“You don't know how I feel, Jimmy. She's my best friend, not yours.”

“Matt's my best friend and I'm still fucking around with his girlfriend.”

“That's different.”

“HOW? How the fuck is it different?”

“It's a girl thing. You wouldn't understand.”

“A girl thing? That's fucking ridiculous. You're ridiculous.”

He hung up and I just sat there with a frown. Well that went well...
