New life

What a beautiful day today.

I woke up in my new house remembering everything that happened yesterday.

I met some new people at school already even though I was just putting my stuff in my locker, they all seemed super nice but I gotta think twice before I make new friends, some of the people here have family that goes to my old school, don't ask me how I know, cuz I just do.

I found out that my dad girlfriend is the school principal, I was shocked to find that out.

I don't know what I should do today... maybe the museum or the carnival or even the mall...

I decided to go to the mall because I threw out half my clothes out when I found out that Josh had cheated on me... I only did it because he was the one who bought them for me.

Since school starts in three days I'll get clothes based on how I want people to feel about me... I decided to call Casey because he knew where to get the best clothes and shoes...instead of going there myself I decided to hire Casey as my fashion director so I gave him a four hundred dollars spending limit and I gave him a hundred for himself since I owe him hundred dollars... don't ask why.

When I walked outside I saw what looks like my future husband... he was tall, dirty blonde hair with a swish, beautiful grey-green eyes, long lashes, nice jawline, perfect white teeth, in a nice casual outfit... "Hey you must be Ari." he said to me, I kept my cool and answered back "yes and you might be?" I said with an attitude. "Sorry I'm James nice to meet you I live right across the street I wanted to welcome you the neighborhood," he said so sweetly "thanks, and nice to meet you James, I was just going to get some ice cream and head to work do you want to come?" I ask "yeah sure and do you think your work is hiring I was looking for a job too," he asked not trying to be out there very much "I honestly don't know you can come with me and see," I said giving him a wink while walking off "Hey where you going?" he yelled at me "Are you coming are not. " I yelled back waiting on him to catch up.

While we were walking to the ice cream parlor we talked about a lot of things like school, family, food, etc. etc..

"Hey we're here," I tell him as I walked in and I saw the same employee that was there the same night. "I'm paying, get whatever your heart desires," he said finally returning a wink back at me... I decided to go with the same ice cream flavors I had last time because after I had that I've been craving it... "Ari look at this" James yelled pointing at something like a child I couldn't help but laugh "what it is my child, " I said waiting for a reaction from him and I got one he rolled his eyes at me, I laughed and walked over to him and he was pointing at some type of chips "get and I'll buy it for since you paying for my ice cream, " I said "no I can't have you do that," he said sounding upset " it's okay, it's not like anyone dying yet so don't look like that," I said giving him a hug I had got the chip and paid for it while James was still making his ice cream "So your name is Ari how cute."  The guy said while ringing up James chips " Yea it is and your is Joe since we giving names now " I said "how you know my name I don't have a name tag on " he said confused "you were supposed to be my tour guide at school on Monday but you weren't there," I said "oh so I guess you know the school then?" he asked "yea and we have three classes together" I said "three-fifty, and good to know "he said with a wink and I rolled my eyes.

I look back at James and said "Are you ready my ice cream melting James " "yea I'm ready I'm coming over now" he said "who is that guy" Joe asks "my son why?" I asked trying to confuse him "how old is your son," he asks "fifteen," I said "hmm," Joe said looking at James "James why are you walking so slow, " I said "I'm trying not to spill my ice cream mother," he said sarcastically "why did you get so much anyway?" I asked "I don't know," he said back "okay let me help you," I said getting his ice cream and puts it on the counter and grabbing his hands pulling him up as a joke "stop that I'm not a baby, I'm fifteen," he said getting upset "you act like one," I said, he rolled his eyes "$18.90," Joe said with a slight attitude "what's wrong Joe everything okay," I said while James gave him a twenty, Joe rolled his eyes and gave James his changes. "bye Joe see you on Monday," I said waving...

James and I walked to my job and when we got their James was so shocked that I worked here... "let me go find my mom stay here and I'll be right back, okay" I said sounding worried for James "I'll be fine," he said as I was walking to my mom's office "mom are you in?" I asked "yea I'm in here darling" she responded back, I opened the door and my mom stood up and gave me a hug "mom I have someone I want you to meet," I said "oh no please tell me it's not a new boyfriend," she said sounding really worried "no mom he's just a friend," I said walking my mom out of her office to meet James "James this is my mother, mother this is James the neighbor, we met today," I told her she had a confused look on her face but was quickly wiped away "Hello James it's nice to meet you" "nice to meet you too Ms. Moon I didn't know Ari worked for you and I didn't know you were her mother till now" he said sounding very nervous and excited  "good to know because I need more help around here" she said sounding very happy " I'll be great help around here" he said jumping up and down "I need a receptionist are you okay with that" she said "yes I am, I'm good with papers and people" good you're hired you start now so get ready Ari will show you the charging room to the staff... oh and you'll need a lock for your locker so you can keep you locker" she said walking back to her office "follow me" I said pulling his arm "Woah that was amazing" he said picking his locker and changing " be careful one wrong mistake and your done" I said "that's scary, OK I won't mess up I promise" he said after we got dress we went to work.

Since my shift was over I went to help James out a little, "Hey I'm done do you need help?" I asked "yea I'm trying to put this last person in and it's not going through" he said "OK let me see" I said walking over and checking "oh I see know that what I did wrong" James said fixing his mistake "OK I'm done and off shift what to do next" he asked "we can go to your house and order pizza and watch a movie" I said feeling proud of myself "OK sure since my sister at her boyfriend house and my dad is still at work " he said "let's go then, first  you get dress and I'll tell my mom where I'll be at" I said "OK and I'll tell my dad I'm have company over " he said pulling out his phone and making his call while I go to my mom's office "mom" "coming in" she said sounding busy "I will be home late, I'm going to be across the street at James house watching a movie" I said "OK, make sure to call a cab instead of walking home OK" she said "I will" I said walking out of her office looking for James, I found him outside in front of the building "mom said we have to catch a cab" I told him "OK good thing I had got Uber" he said laughing, I couldn't but help but laugh too "I want to go somewhere before the Uber get here" I said "OK let's go they won't be here for another fifteen minutes" he said following me.

We walked to the nearest store which was 5 stores down for my mom's hotel, we walked in and I had gone to the drinks and got me a sprite and Fiji water while James got a Powerade, mountain dew, and an Arizona tea, I decided to get me some snacks and I had got some, roasted peanuts, hot fries, now and laters, and a two packs of gum while James was trying to get the snack aisle.

"why you trying to out snack me," I said laughing walking to the cashier "How you know, " he said laughing putting his stuff down "I had got seven things while you got fourteen, you got two times the amount I have," I said laughing paying for my stuff "yea I wanted to restock my snack drawer that's all," he said, "you have a snack drawer,"I asked sounding amazed "yea I do hurry up and get your bags so I can pay for my stuff and we can catch our Uber," he said and I got my bags and walked out of the store waiting for James.

After the awkward Uber ride, we walked into my house so we can get some movies to watch, we choose three different movies, Shrek, bridge to Terabithia, and Candyman... we didn't know which one to choose so we left my house and walked across the street to bump into his father.

"Hey dad this is Ari our neighbor," James said as I waved and smiled at his father "hmm," James father said looking me up and down "Do we have a problem cause I can just go back home if there is," I said very straight-faced while James looks upset about what I said "the only problem is... " James father said while I cut him off "if you say my weight or skin we will have a very big problem," I said stepping up to James' father "he never told me a n... " "say it I fucking dare you," I said walking closer to him "Ari chill," James said pulling me back "you know what I'm going to go back home so I'll see you later," I said looking at James and rolling my eyes at his father...
