After an hour of reviewing the contract and prepping for what we were going to say for the meeting, we headed to the boardroom to meet up with Richard Stacey, Marshall King, Rocky Jones, and Samuel key to discuss the contract and why we should go with the big national park.
"Hello guys let's get to work," I said while walking over to the whiteboard to write down what happened in the last few meetings and how far we are from getting the park.
"Ever since we started working with Ari its been easier to buy the park and we've been trying for almost five years " rocky said
"And I'm glad to be here, now everyone looks at the contract they sent us and all the ones that are circled and underlined is the loophole we can go around," I said as I wrote down all the possible ways to steal the park.
"We went this way already we need a better way to this last step," Mr.newberry said
"I agree, and I believe that Ari has to talk to them," Samuel said as he looked at me like he wanted something
"We can do it like this or go a whole new route," I said pointing at all the ideas I wrote on the board
After we finished the meeting it was 1:30 pm. I decided to go out to lunch with Mr.Newberry since we hungry.
"Hey Ari, do you want to go out for lunch with me?" Samuel asked
"Oh, I'm sorry I was going with Mr.Newberry, you can come with us if you want," I said pointing at mr.newberry who was talking to rocky
"What's going on between you and Liam?" Samuel asked
"What do you mean, there's nothing going on with me and Mr.newberry," I said looking at him sideways
"You're always around him and he always brings you up when you aren't around," Samuel said getting closer
"We do have relations but we aren't together," I said taking a step back but kept getting closer
"What are your relations with him?" Samuel asked grabbing my arm firmly
"That's none of your business, and let go of me," I said trying to pull away from Samuel
"Hey she said let go," Jacob said running up from behind me
"Who are you?" Samuel said throwing my arm away from him
"I'm..." Jacob said before I cut him off
"The Governor son, he's the governor son," I said walking away from both of them to meet Mr.Newberry by the door
"What happened?" Mr.Newberry asked as we walked out the hotel to get inside of his car, I said nothing as we drove to the restaurant, we sat in the car in a sharp quietness, while I was just looking out of the window minding my business till Mr.Newberry broke the silents
"Are going to answer me?" he asked as he turns and looks at me
"I really don't want to talk about right now, just know my life is falling apart," I said still looking out the window not trying to cry
When we got to the restaurant Mr.Newberry opened my door, and I stepped out of the car and walked to the door to open it but Mr.Newberry opened it up for me like I couldn't do anything which was really annoying
"I might be pregnant but I can still do stuff" I whispered to Mr.newberry
"I know and from now on call me dad or Liam, not Mr.Newberry I'm 42 and you making me feel 95," he said and I just started laughing as he just looked at me like I was crazy
