"This was my father house and I helped designed this room, he knew how much I like to be alone so if I was ever upset he'll let me rest up here till dinner time and call me through the intercom," she said pointing at the intercom "he even made me a slide and a secret entrance in the driveway" she continued.
"Where is your dad now?" I asked
" I don't know the last time I saw him was here two years ago," she said
"You don't keep in touch with him?" I asked
"I try to but he always ends up changing his number because of his exes," she said going back down the elevator
"Huh, I'm learning a lot about you," I said
"I wish it was mutual" she shot back at me.
"Sorry, I'm a closed person," I said and she turned around and looked me up and down then out of nowhere she started yelling my butler's name.
"Charlie" "Charlie" by the third time Charlie came out of the butler corner of the kitchen and the look on his face was a sight to be seen because he never shows any facial movement unless he's talking to me.
"Ari, what are you doing here," he said giving her a hug
"I live here now," she said
"How did you know I was still here?" he asked
"Because I knew you'd still be here even if my dad left you truly are our day one," she said letting out some tears, this is the first time something like this had to happen to me and I didn't know what to say or do.
"Of course I would because I knew you would do a good job like your father and be better than your mother," he said
"Where is my father now?" she asked
"Well I don't really know at the moment but the last thing I remembered was him saying he was going to train like an assassin so he can work under you since you always worked under him since you were very young," Charlie said
"My father didn't need to be assassin he could have been my personal chef," she said with a slight giggle.
"I told him that but he wanted to be an assassin for you because people have a lot of problems with you," Charlie said
I felt so out of the conversation so I decided to go outside till I got a phone call from Melody, she was probably going to ask if I broke up with Ari, which I didn't but if she does ask I'm going to play it off like I did and see what happens.
"Yeah," I said picking up the phone
"Did she break up with you?" Melody asked
"Yeah, why?" I asked
"Now you can help me with something very important now that she isn't on your clock," she said
"She's never on my clock and she trusts me even when I give her reason not to and why should I help you when someone is always helping you?" I asked
"That's for me to know and for you to dot dot dot," she said
"You are definitely Katherine Pierce," I said
"I aspire to be her," she said
"Too bad she's a fictional character or she would have killed you," I said
"No she wouldn't we would have been buddies," she said
