It's been about two days and I haven't talked to the stranger ever since I met him. I've been staring at this piece of paper for God knows how long. It was only morning and I haven't showered yet, or cooked breakfast. I set the paper down and went to get into the shower.

About half an hour later, I was out of the shower and dressed. I walked into my room and looked over to the Piano. I went over and sat on the Piano stool, straightening my back. I then started playing "Let Her Go" by Passenger.

It soothed my soul and it caught me up in the moment, away from everything else. All of the stress and worries went away. I smiled, in happiness. The melody was so beautiful. But before I knew it, it was over. The song was done and over with. I sighed as my happy moment was finally over.

A few minutes I got bored and started thinking about joining the band. I barley knew the guy and I didn't even know his name. But, I have been wanting to join a band. Being able to hear music from others. And able to feel the same melody and joy. I was really tempted to join. But I wasn't so sure.

After an hour or so, I gave in. I walked back over to the note to see several digits. I held it up and went over to pick up my phone. I inserted the numbers into my phone and hit dial. "I can't believe I'm doing this." I mumbled to myself, waiting for the strange boy to answer.

After about 10 seconds, he answered the phone. "Hello? Who's this?" The voice said, sounding very unpleased. "The girl you met at Starbucks." I said akwardly. "Oh." He paused. I stayed quiet for a few seconds. "I will join the band." I said looking out my window, it was snowing some more outside.

"Really? Well that's good news. I'll go tell the members." He said, somewhat happier then before. "Um, it's it's possible, can I come meet you guys?" I asked. I somewhat mentally facepalmed myself. Well, I mean you can't have a band if you don't meet the members.

"Uh ,sure. Um, we will come pick you up later." He said calmly. "Okay, here I will text you my address." I said getting ready to hang up. "Okay, we might be an hour or so. I guess we'll see you later." He said and hung up.

I sighed as I messaged him my address. I walked down the stairs, into my living room. I lived alone and moved a couple months ago from my parent's house. And this place seemed perfect. There was so much room for me to roam in. I quietly went over to my couch and sat down.

I turned the TV on, that was sitting across from me, I started watching some shows to pass the time. Eventually, it had been around an hour and I heard a knock on the door. It made me jump a little but it didn't really bother me. I walked up to the door and opened it, which revealed the boy from a couple of days ago.

"Oh, hey." I smiled a little. The boy looked over to me and akwardly smiled back. "Hey." He said. "I'm ready to go." I say while scratching my neck. "Oh, yeah." He said and was walking back over to his car. It was really akward talking to eachother. We barely talked and I'm already heading to his car. Why did I ever agree to joining the band?

I opened the Passenger door and hopped in, the boy then did the same on the opposite side. He started the car and drove away from my house. We sat there a couple minutes before I broke the silence. "I never got your name." I mumbled loud enough for him to hear.

"Oh, sorry. Name's Aleks, with a "K" not an "X"." He said keeping his eyes on the road. "My name's Madi." I looked towards him. He had brown hair, brown eyes, and his right arm was full of tattoos. He actually seemed kinda cool. But that's just first impressions. Well, I just got myself into something stressful.
