Chapter 24: Where is she?

Y/n POV

I woke up and Donghyun smiled at me.

"Hi oppa."

Donghyun: "Hey, wanna get ice cream? Everyone left to do who knows what but you fell asleep so I just stayed here in case you woke up."

"Awe thank you oppa but you didn't have to but yeah let's get ice cream."

Donghyun: "It's no big deal, I wanted to stay back. Also I wanted to talk."

"About what?"

We started walking out of the practice room and down the stairs since the lobby isn't that far down. But I couldn't help but think that it was about my break down...

Donghyun: "Well..."

"Oppa. Just tell me."

Donghyun: "I know why you cried... Minhyuk told me but don't be mad at him for it because I basically forced him to tell me, sorry but I was just worried about you."

"I'm not mad, I'm relieved that you know. I wanted to tell you recently because it has gotten worse recently but I didn't know how you would take it or I would be."

Donghyun: "Hey I'm here for you Y/n. Anytime, anywhere. You have my number and if I'm not I'll make it up to you a ton."

"Awe thanks oppa. I appreciate it."

Before I realized it we were at the ice cream shop and I was in the mood for some cotton candy ice cream.

Donghyun: "What would you like?"

"Cotton candy! What are you getting?"

Donghyun: "Hm.. maybe superman."

"Oh that one is super good!"

Donghyun: "I'll take your word for it and try it Miss Ice Cream Expert."

"That's a long name."

Donghyun: "For a short person not to mention."

"Hey rude."

Donghyun: "Hey don't hate."

"I'll think about it."

Donghyun looked really hurt when I said this and it made me laugh.

Worker: "Hi, what can I get you two today?"

Donghyun: "Hello, can I get a Superman and can she get a Cotton Candy."

Worker: "What size?"

Donghyun: "Both smalls please."

Worker: "Ok that'll be $7.45."

As I try to get my money out of my pocket Donghyun beat me to it and paid with a $10 bill.

Donghyun: "Keep the change."

Worker: "Thank you!"

We walked away and waited for our ice cream to be made.

"You know I could've help with the bill."

Donghyun: "It was so small, I got it covered. Whenever you're out with me, I pay. I pay for both me and you. You never have to lift a finger with me."

"That's not fair. I should at least help."

Worker: "One Superman ice cream and one cotton candy ice cream in cups!"

Donghyun: "That's us shorty."

"Hey!"

Donghyun completely ignored me! He grabbed our ice cream from the worker and said 'thank you' but of course he was being mean and raised my ice cream over my head so I couldn't get it.
