Chapter 17: The Audition

Y/n POV

We're here. At Starship. I'm about to audition. I'M ABOUT TO AUDITION! I started breathing in and out, I'm panicking.

Minhyuk: "OMG! Are you okay?"

I nodded my head and continued breathing in and out.

Minhyuk: "You're panicking, aren't you?"

I nodded again.

Minhyuk: "Don't worry I'll be there for you and so will the guys. We'll cheer you on!"

"O-o-ok."

We soon got to the waiting room where Minhyuk would leave me and I would have to wait. So I went in and saw lots of people. I found a seat and then plugged in my headphones and turned on the song I was going to sing. (To refresh your memories⬇️)

I started lip-syncing it and I realized that people started to get called, I didn't bother to look up. Until it was my turn, the person came up to me and said,

Wonho: "Y/n-ah it's your turn. Don't be nervous you got this. Fighting!"

"Ok, I got this! I don't got this..."

Wonho: "Yeah, you do. You're talented and all of Monsta X knows it. We're glad we met you. Now show the rest of us what you're made of."

"Alright. Let's do this."

We reached the door and nervous feeling faded away thanks to Wonho oppa. I went in and introduced myself.

"Annyeonghaseyo. Jeon Y/n-imnida. I am 21 years old and my older brother is Wonwoo of SEVENTEEN. I'm going to be singing Perfect by Ed Sheeran and dancing to Good Boy by G-Dragon and Taeyang."

I bowed and I then began to sing and clearly, stable, and loudly. I then bowed again and Good Boy started playing and I started dancing. I was proud and happy and just went with the flow of everything.

The song ended and then I heard clapping from... Minhyuk.

Hyorin: "Oh! Do you know each other?"

Minhyuk: "Ah..."

"Yes. We've been friends since we were kids. He's 4 years older than me but a child at heart so we remained close. He's the reason I am here today."

K.Will: "Oh~ that's a strong friendship."

Bora: "I assume you know all of them then?"

"Yes."

Donghyun: I think we can all agree that Y/n is a true talent. Can you rap?"

"A little bit yes."

Bora: "Wah! DAEBAK! You're so talented."

"Gamsahabnida."

Dasom: "Ok! We'll get back to you soon Y/n. Until then see you soon!"

I bowed once more and I felt proud and I left but I went back in order to talk to Minhyuk oppa again.

"Lee oppa! I need a ride home."
