“The Upcoming Crisis”

In Raffinia:

            The sun was not yet rising, when loud voices started to scream indicating a horrific disaster. “All of you wake up! We are attacked by strange beasts!” cried a villager. Everyone was trembled. All soldiers and men got their arms to defend the village. The elders, women, and children went to the hidden shelter made for instances like this. A maiden swiftly sought her queen, and found Nifera fully equipped with armor, looking at her son in a room.

            “Will you fight my queen?” asked the maiden.

            “I have to for our village, Zhekeenah,” Nifera replied.

            “Where’s our king?”

            “He left for our sake. It’s all I can answer you.”

            “I always believe in your words.”

            “I’m quite appreciative for your faithfulness. Zhekeenah, this may be my last wish to you. Can you grant it for me, not as your queen, but as my friend?

            “My life is offered to serve you my queen. Anything you ask.”

            “I’m thankful that I’m never mistaken to trust you. Please, take Vincent with you inside the shelter. I’ll summon knights to guard your safety. If I won’t be able to return alive, promise me you’ll take care of him,” requested Nifera tearfully as she patted at her son’s head. “Give the love that I may never express to him. Tell him about us, his parents who can even sacrifice their lives for his sake.”

            “Your son is much beloved by me. Don’t worry my queen. I’ll promise to take care of him,” vowed Zhekeenah. “Still you’re the only one who can love this child the most. Come back alive for him.”

            “I’ll strive to live and end this for him,” ensured Nifera. “Now I can fight without too much bothering me.” She summoned soldiers and commanded them to guard Zhekeenah and her son through the hidden shelter. “Go now, Zhekeenah. I have to lead the knights. Take care of Vincent.”

            Zhekeenah nodded and went straight to the shelter with Vincent as the knights secured them.

            The frightful beasts killed all they could catch using their hard and sharp nails. They were emotionless stabbing even the elders, women, and children.

            Nifera led the Raffinian soldiers in protecting the village. She showed her clever skills in combat. The Raffinians determinedly fought, however the beasts were very formidable.

In Hypoc

“Kurthos!” yelled Regis. “Stop it!”

“How I enjoy seeing you grieve,” laughed Kurthos.

With all his left strength, Regis stood up, and flew to charge Kurthos. “Kurthos, you’ll pay!”

Kurthos just waved his scythe and Regis flicked back to the ground. “You still try, huh?”

Regis immediately slashed his sword and blasted off a wind blade. He succeeded to hit Kurthos.

“You badly want to end your life, huh?” angrily shouted Kurthos unscratched with the attack. “Then I’ll finish you off right now!” He raised his left hand and set off a huge dark ball of energy, but before he released the dark ball, someone used energy and shot him from behind. “Eras, you’re still alive.”
