Baldis Basic (Baldi's Past)

ch 6

I and Alicia were standing face to face, it didn't take long for one of the kids to walk in and called out fight. The whole school rushed in, even the 9th graders were here! I look around and saw everyone cheering, some were betting on who would win and others just started talking about how a boy would fight a girl. I didn't care, I've taken so much bullshit for my whole life that I don't care anymore. I snap out of my thoughts when I felt a punch to my face. I fell to the ground and touched my cheek, everyone started laughing.

"I can't believe he let a girl hit him!"

"He's so weak"

"Why would he fight a girl in the first place?"

"Shes just a kid"

I was about to get up when Alicia pushed me down and started to repeatedly punch me in the face. "So I live in a facade! I'm the bitch!  look at you, you won't even hit me back! What? Are you scared of me? That it!"

That snapped me back to reality before she took another swing I punched her face. She fell onto the ground and started to cry. The room Went silent as everyone started to argue.

"How could he hit her!"

"Wow! You would fight a girl, you're weaker than I thought"

"Bet he wouldn't fight me"

That's when one of the teachers rushed into the room.

"Whats going on!"

Everyone told her the same thing, I was picking on Alicia and started the fight. I was sent home afterward, my mom didn't say a word to me the entire ride home. As soon as I walk into the house I ran upstairs and lock my door. I took my hat off and set it on the lamp table beside my bed.

A few hours later my mom called me downstairs. I hurry and put my hat on then ran downstairs.

"Baltimore, we have a guest" I look at the front door to see Alicia and her mom at the door. First, you ignore me, next fight me then bring your ugly mom here to confront me?

"I would like to speak to you son" my mom agreed and lead her to the kitchen where she left me, Alicia and her mom alone. I sat down as both of them stared at me, I wait for about a minute before Alicia mom spoke. "I heard you were picking on my daughter"

"I wasn't picking on her" I was tired of everyone lying about me and to my face.

"The explain why did you punch my daughter in her face!"

"I don't have to explain to you! Your daughter is the one who needs to explain! She started all of this and everyone is too stupid and blind to realize this!" She jumps.

"I'm not here to listen to your whining I'm here because of you! She told me everything! She told me how you would talk about her clothes, she tells me how you push her around, how you fought her and told she was too stupid to take that test!"

"Do you seriously believe that crap! Your daughter has been nothing but trouble!"

"Trouble? You and your dysfunctional family has been trouble, A mom that doesn't pay attention to her child, a drunk father and a sick and twisted boy who is only jealous of everyone else because they have what he doesn't."

"Fuck you" she gasps, she grabs Alicia hand and walks out the door slamming it, I got up and walk out of the room. Not long after my mom calls again from downstairs, I groan and walk downstairs again to see her with my dad's belt in her hand. I was about to run upstairs but she grasps my arm.

"You little shit!" She swings the belt not caring what she hit. She was so pissed at what I said to Alicia mom. I screamed "I'm sorry" over and over again. She didn't stop until she got tired. "I don't what to hear any of that crap anymore" I nod while tears roll down my face. She sent me back upstairs, I lock my door and hug myself to sleep.

The next day, no one went to breakfast. Everyone used that time to study and prepare for the test. I sat down in a classroom. I wore a big green sweater since my mom left bruises on me. Alicia came into the classroom, she walks over to me.

I look up at her "what do you want now?"

"Look, I'm sorry"

"Sorry isn't gonna fix what you've created" I look down at my book and continue to study. "I know, I realized that when my mom left, I wanted to make it up to you"

"There's nothing you can do to change my mind about you" she walks away.

The bell rings for class, I sat in the back since this was a simple basic math test. Mostly multiplication, addition, subtraction, dividing that stuff. I started my test soon as the timer started. each section was easy and I quickly finished with no problems. I saw other kids having a hard time, I look around waiting for the timer to go off and end the test already. Alicia seemed she had it in the bag before the test, now that I see she actually is having a harder time understanding this.

After 25 minutes the timer went off. Everyone handed In their test papers and left the room. I stretched and waited for my bus to arrive, it was a half day after all. I notice Alicia was upset I walk over "don't tell me your gonna cry" she looked over "w-what? No, I have something in my eye" I stared In an "I don't believe you" type of way" she noticed.

"I know I failed the test I passed everything except multiplication"

"Not my fault was it"

"No, if I wasn't so mean and started bullying then maybe you could have helped me" I didn't want to be friends again but I didn't want to see a girl cry.

"Friends" she held out her hand, I regretfully shook it and hug her.
