Chapter 11 - Fever

I woke up and saw myself lying on a bed. Allison was holding my hand. "Are you feeling alright?" she said. I tried to stand up but my head suddenly felt hurt. "I don't think so" I said. It's so hot. "You should say that you're sick from the beginning Skye! You made us worried" she said. Sick? Oh. That's why it's so hot. "I wasn't feeling sick earlier though. I just felt dizzy suddenly" I said. Allison held my hand tightly. "Your hand is so warm" she said. "Ofcourse, I'm sick after all" I said. She suddenly went quiet.

"....Earlier, what did you mean?" she said. "Huh? What do you mean?" I asked. "You said something weird earlier before you faint" she said. "I said something? What was it? I really can't seem to remember" I said. "You said that you..." she stopped talking and blushed. "I said what?" I asked. "You.... wanted me.. to be.. y-your.. f-first kiss.." she said and blushed. I also blushed when she said that. "A-are you sure I said s-something like that?" I asked. "Yeah... I'm really sure you said that to me" she said. I was really shocked when she said that. Why did I said that? I couldn't feel anything at all that would make me say that. "It's okay. I was really not bothered by it. So please, don't think too much of it" she said. Was she really not bothered? I think she was bothered by it because she asked me even though it's very embarrassing to ask. "Where is Sam and Haru?" I asked. "I think they're on their way to give you the rice porridge" she said. "Did Sam cooked it?" I asked again. "Yeah, she's good at cooking. So she suggested Haru to show her where the kitchen was so she can cook you some rice porridge" she said. "Ah, I see. How very thoughtful of her" I said. "Hey! I was thinking of you too you know?" she said. "Eh? you were thinking about me?" I said. "Don't get the wrong idea! I was just worrying hmph!" she said and blushed. "I know, I know" I said. She really looks cute when she's pissed. I stared at her for a while.

Then.. I suddenly felt something again. That feeling made my heart beat fast. I suddenly remembered something. It was the one that Allison was saying. So I really said that? I suddenly blushed. My heart beat can't stop. Why? Because of my fast heart beat, my chest felt hurt. I put both of my hands to my chest. "Woah! your heart is beating too fast!" Allison said. I forgot that she was holding my hand. But it seems like that I don't want to let go of her hand. "Your face is so red! Is your fever getting higher?" she said. I really can't seem to say anything because of this feeling. Seriously, what is this feeling? "Hey, let go of my hand" she said. Allison was trying to take her hand off from me. But I held her hand more tightly. "D-don't.." I said. Allison gave me a confused look when I said that. Then words came out of my mouth, "C-can you h-hug me?" I said. Why did I said that? I felt like saying that but I don't know why. "H-huh? O-okay" she said. Allison then hugged me. I also hugged her. But I was hugging her tightly. "I.." I said. "What?" she said. "I lo-" I stopped talking. My heart beat went a little slower because of the hug. "What were you about to say?" Allison asked. "N-nothing" I said and blushed. After hugging for a while, my heart beat calmed down and went back to its normal beat. "I feel better now. You can stop hugging me" I said. But Allison was still hugging. "You can stop hugging me now Alli" I said again. "Just a little bit longer" she said. She really likes me huh? I patted her head. "Seriously. Thank you for hugging me earlier. It made my heart beat calm down. I'll give you something in return" I said. "You'll give me something?" she said. "Yeah. So, what do you want?" I said. Allison was thinking and said, "A k-kiss maybe?". I blushed. "Just kidding!" she said and laughed. Gosh, I thought she was serious. That made me nervous. "Look at your face! hahaha" she said and continued to laugh. I guess that's revenge for always pissing her off. I laughed too for no reason.

Then the door opened. "What are you doing Allison?" Sam said. Allison suddenly stopped hugging me. "N-nothing!" Allison said. "Really? It looked like you were hugging Skye" Haru said. "I did not hug her!" Allison said. "Go away from Skye, Allison" Sam said. "Huh?!" Allison said and glares at Sam. "No, I mean. Don't stick too much with Skye. You might also get her fever you know?" Sam said. "Oh, okay" Allison said and went somewhere that's far from me. Sam walked towards me and gave me the porridge. "Can you handle it?" Sam asked. "My body feels weak. It seems I can't" I said. "Then I'll feed you" Sam said whiles her eyes were shaped like stars. I nodded.

Sam took a scoop of the porridge. She carefully blew the porridge. "Here. Say Ahh" Sam said. I blushed. "I'm not a kid you know" I said and opened my mouth. Sam then fed me the porridge. "How does it taste?" Sam said. "It's delicious" I said. "Glad you liked it" Sam said. She seems like she'll be a good wife.
