I woke up in my dark room to the sound of something breaking in the den downstairs. Then I heard arguing. It was my parents. They argued 24/7, day and night. Six months ago, it was bad. But it has gotten worse since then and I don't know what to do about it.

I checked my phone which was sitting on the bedside table. I clicked the home button on my iPhone 5S that my parents got for me on my birthday which was back April. Wednesday, May 14, 11:57 pm.

Since my parents were still arguing, it's really terrible, I checked Twitter and Instagram. On Twitter, I retweeted a couple tweets and even tweeted my own.

@Shea_Anderson: can't sleep, been awakened. RT if you're awake.

Next I went Instagram. I had 4 follow requests, so now I have 489 followers, they're all from my school. I liked some pictures, and then I posted one.

@Shea_Anderson: can't sleep, who's awake?

After about 15 more minutes of being on social networks, I decided to go back, or try at least, to bed. I plugged my iPhone into my charging dock and turned on some music. Eventually, I finally drifted off.

My alarm went off at 7:00 am, I had school today. I only have 30 minutes to get to school. Luckily, I went to a public school so I didn't have to wear a uniform.

I found a black floral skater dress, black Converse, and a black beanie. I straightened my mid back," long, auburn hair. It's a good thing that I have medium thickness hair because it doesn't take longer than 20 minutes.

Next, I did my makeup in a hurry. I applied foundation, concealer, blush, light gray eye shadow, black eyeliner, mascara, and finished with my Smootchies lip stick and some Bath and Body Works lip gloss.

I put my clothes on, tied my shoes, grabbed my phone, and ran down the stairs. For breakfast, I took a granola bar and orange juice. I gathered my Mac book and iPad (yes we need it in 8th grade at my school because everything is now "techno") and placed my Mac in its sleeve and my iPad in a Bluetooth keyboard.

Once I put those in my Aeropostale tote/book bag, i left out the door and waited for the bus. I hated taking a bus, but I only had 2 years left until I was able to drive.

I got on the bus after about 5 minutes of waiting. I sat in an empty seat because my best friend, Briar's, house was 4 doors down from me.

A boy that I knew, Michael was right next door to me. So the bus picked him up next. We've been friends since kindergarten. Briar thinks that I liked him back in 5th grade. I did, but at the same time, I didn't.

Michael stepped in the bus. His light brown hair was really messed up today. Michael's brown eyes met mine for a split second before I looked away. He started walking towards me.

"Can I sit here?" He asked gesturing with his lightly tan skinned hand. I nodded. So Michael sat down next to me. We were both tall and skinny so we could fit one more person, but our bags took up the space. I was 5'5, and he's was an inch and a half taller than me.

We started talking on the way to school. I totally forgot about everything. From the problems at home to the stress of graduation coming around the corner. I also forgot about Briar.
