This morning, it started to rain. I decided to not put any makeup but foundation, concealer and blush, afraid that anything else would run.
I literally raided through my closet trying to find something to wear. But I found my grey "Whatever" crop top, black high waisted shorts, and black converses.
I ran down the stairs in a hurry, not even bothering to grab breakfast. Taking my bag, walking towards the door I realized I forgot my phone. So I had to run back up the stairs and bag down.
I darted out the door right as the bus arrived at my house. As I sat in an empty seat, my phone buzzed.
💖Briar💖: hey, I'm going to sit next to JC on the bus today so don't save me a spot next to you, save it for someone else;)
I texted her back and just had a conversation until Michael would get on.
(💎- Shea, 💖- Briar)
💎 I think I am going to take your advice, Bri
💖 Finally!! It's about time you listen to me.
💎 he's boarding!¡!
💖 act cool, don't be stupid. See you in a few:)
"Hey there." Michael said while taking a seat next to me. "Hola a ti también." I responded and he laughed. "Sorry, me no comprehendo."
"I said 'Hello there to you too,' I think you should pay attention more in Spanish." I smirked. "I get to distracted." Michael said looking into my eyes and I felt myself blush.
Soon we saw JC and Briar get on, together. Michael nudged me, "Did they just come on the bus together?" I nodded. "Doesn't JC live like 5-6 blocks farther down?"
He took a moment or two to answer, "Yeah, he must've walked to her house, interesting." JC and briar took the seat next to us.
"Hey!" Briar said cheerfully. I waved back at her and looked at JC, "Did you walk down to her house?" JC blushed before he answered. "Maybe." He smirked.
The rest of the ride just consisted of me talking to Michael and Briar talking to JC. "I'm excited for today." I basically squealed. "Me too, me too. It'll be fun and I think you'll like it." MIchael laughed.
After about 10-15 more minutes of stopping to get kids, which one out of the fifteen or sixteen that we got, missed the bus, we finally got to school. MIchael walked with me to my locker; his was about 4 lockers down.
"Alright, so after school, we take the bus home, drop our stuff off, and grab our Pennyboards. Sound like a plan?" He asked me and I nodded. The bell rang so I shuffled through my stuff in my locker to find my History textbook. I grabbed that and actually ran to class, I was surprised I was caught.
Luckily, not even the teacher was there, so I technically wasn't late. I took a seat next to some popular chic name Julia Edwards. She was turned around talking to her other friend, Micheala Plummth. My books kind of slammed down so Julia jumped and faced me. "Oh," Her happy expression fell, "hi." Nice to see you too!
Michael was in HIstory too, but when I got here he was already sitting next to some dude name Lucas. Once class started, I noticed Julia staring at Michael half the time. I didn't really let it bother me because Michael and I was not a thing.

Soon came lunch and Michael sat down along with JC. Briar and JC instantly started talking. Off in a distance, I saw Julia and Micheala looking at our table.
"Hey," I softly nudged Michael. "do you like Julia? Like at all?" I know I said I didn't care, but it was starting to bug me. "Um, yeah, kinda why?" He asked confused. "No reason, just curious."
I was looking down at my tray until I heard someone set their trays on the table. I looked up and saw Julia and Micheala, what a surprise. Guess where they sat! Julia right between Michael and I and Micheala between JC and briar.
Suddenly, I was hungry anymore and I don't think Briar was either. We took our trays and dumped them. I turned around and saw Julia flip her long strawberry blond hair.
The girls were engaged on talking with the boys. I think I was jealous. But at least she wasn't coming to the "surprise" later.
