"You talked to him!" Briar basically shouted in my ear. "Shhh!" I shushed her between laughs. "But you actually had a conversation with him and did I mention you forgot about me?"

Briar and I walked down the halls together, clutching our books to our chests. "I think I like him." I said out of the blue. Briar wasn't expecting it so just turned towards me.

"What?" She asked. "Yeah, it was all sudden too. Like you know love at first sight." I replied starring off somewhere. Briar laughed, "Ha, ok then."

We got to our lockers and switched out our textbooks. I shut my locker and stood up against it. "At least you have someone decent to like. Who isn't dating I should put out there." Briar said looking for her binder.

"Wait, what happened to Sam?" I asked her. "Long gone, Shea." She replied. "Since when? I didn't know about this."

"I don't know, 5-6 months ago maybe. I just don't think he's the type for me to like." Briar told me shrugging her shoulders.

Sam was one of the school "bad kids" I guess you'd call it. He had dark brown hair that was probably the darkest brown I've ever seen. Sam's hazel eyes were so gorgeous you could get lost staring into them. He also he a perfect teen boy figure to him; not to tall and not to thin. Did I mention he was the badass of the school?

"That shouldn't matter." I told her. "Well, it kinda does because my mom thinks he's a bad kid with a bad personality." Briar emphasized "bad" a little too much. I had nothing else to say so I just shrugged my shoulders.

"Anyways," Briar started. "see you at lunch?" I nodded, "Yeah don't we always?" I asked. "Oh right, I was making sure you knew so you didn't forget me this time." She teased. I rolled my eyes and walked into my science class.

I scanned the group of seats and saw Michael sitting alone, that's a surprise. I didn't wanna be next to him every time I saw him, but there were no other seats open.

I made my way over to Michael. I set my stuff on the lab counter, whatever you want to call it, and sat down. "Hey." He said. "Hi." I replied. "Surprised you were alone."

"How do you know I wasn't saving it for you?" I laughed at Michael's comment. "Surprised you sat here."

"Why?" I asked confused. "Because this morning, you looked uncomfortable to sit next to me."

"Noo, that's not it." I laughed. He just stared at me with a little grin.

The teacher began her lesson. It was about animal insides or something like that. I only heard bits and pieces of it. Too busy dreaming.

"So do you wanna partner up?" Someone asked me. "What?" I sat straight up. It turned out to be Michael who asked. "Oh, yeah sure!" Michael smiled. "Ok, cool."

The teacher started handing out frogs, dead I should mention. I figured we were dissecting frogs. Yay, just what I love to do. Not.

So, dissecting was over and I'd have to admit, Michael and I did a good job. "So, if you want, find briar and I at lunch. Usually in the middle of the lunchroom." I said with a smile. I grabbed my stuff and walked out.
