Dear silence,
Thanks for teaching me how to hear distant sounds,
Thanks for teaching me how to think better,
Thanks for being there when nobody else was,
Cause without you,
How would have I known,
That I'm truly alone?
That there's no one out there
Who truly cares...Thanks for teaching me how not to trust,
Thanks for teaching me that no one can help me,
Thanks for showing me that I'm alone in this and that I can never run away from you.Cause you're always there,
Waiting for my fake smile to disappear,
For the fake people to go away,
And for the sun to stop shining.
Cause when the shining dies
The sun is nothing
Because what would the sun be, if it didn't shine?
Useless,
unimportant,
Nothing.Because if you can't be used,
you're not important.
So don't cry for being alone,
Be okay because at least now you know,
That silence was there,
To teach you how to fight away
All the monsters out there,
Inside your head,
And the ones who use your strength for their enjoyment.Take your sweet revenge,
Show them who you are,
You can actually do it,
And even if I can't reach you,
Don't worry if you don't know how,
Because silence will teach you.
