ROSE / CHAEYOUNG

It's been a week now since the technical accident happened, and therefore, a week that I live with them.

As far as I'm concerned, Jennie and Jisoo aren't problematic. In fact, it was quite amusing living in the same roof as them because they are nice and funny girls. From kindergarten to now, Jennie has developped a protective side towards me. When I was six, she fought with a group of girls because they were bullying me, and I can't be more grateful for what she did.

It's not the only thing she did to me. She stayed by my side even if she was irrited of my shyness.

Jennie was my first friend and my only friend until I meet Lisa.

If she wasn't there, I don't what I would do.

Anyway, this week was a good week, and all thanks to Jisoo. We both choose laws as our principal subject, so we're basically roommates and classmates. We have built a strong routine since the technical accident. We go to class together, talk during break, eat face to face because Jennie and Lisa don't want to sit next to each other.

Speaking of them, I already have a headache.

They are unbearable when it comes to these two in the same room. Although Jennie is the coolest person I know and Lisa is the friendliest girl I have ever seen in my life. It's hard not to love them.

But, when they are together... It's a real disaster.

This week could have been perfect if we erase their mutliple fights. Even though, Lisa sleeps with me, and Jennie with Jisoo, they managed to cross each other in the middle of the night TWICE !

Jennie said, dryly : "Give me the salt, Loser."

And it begins again...

"I'm not your slave, take it yourself."

I drop my fork on my plate, and deeply sigh.

"Please guys," I sigh.

I'm not in the mood to hear their rude comments. Even if Lisa only insults Jennie I keep feel down because it hurts that they truly hate each other and I can't do anything to change their mind. They create a strong negative atmosphere when they're talking to each other. All I want to hear right now is cheesy lines to remind us how much we care about each other or eat in peace.

Lisa gives a death glare to the brunette and says, "She started this."

When it comes to my childhood friend, Lisa is really annoying, and I don't think she realized that her sentence sounds immature. She should be focused on Jisoo, but it seems like she prefers to bother Jennie.

Her damn crush is sitting right in front of her ! Why can't she let Jennie alone and flirts with the one she should care about ? At this point, I don't understand this girl.

"Shut up, Loser."

Jennie's not helping.

"Don't tell me what to do, Stranger."

Here it goes again.

I glance at Jisoo and she's as annoyed as me. I stand up from my chair making a loud noise, and I glare at my two childish friends. They are shocked but they shouldn't. It's been years that I do not say a single thing about their daily quarrels and now I'm sick of it.

"You're all the the same." I blurt out.

I quit the cafeteria, and run to the restroom. The pain I'm holding since this morning is worse than I thought. I squeeze the fabric of my t-shirt, and close my eyes as I enter a cabin.

Jennie is a strong-minded person. When we were young, she would always cry in a desert room. It happenned in sixth grade. The day when she found out that Taehyung couldn't play soccer anymore. He had broken his left leg because he saved her from drowning.

When I asked her why she was crying alone, she didn't answer me. It's Taehyung who told me everything. That's when I found out something that made me admire Jennie even more ; she doesn't show her weakness. She stays strong in front of everyone even if she wants to break down.

I want to be as fierce as her.

However, from now on, I think everyone should have their bad times.

Tears shedding along my cheeks can't stop. Hand on my heart, I try to lower my sobs, but I failed. The quarrels between Lisa and Jennie are starting to be more hateful. Back then, they used to be playful with each other, nothing wrong, but now, it's a burning hate.

Just like my parents.

I sit on the cold floor, and lean my back on the cabin.

"Chaeyoung ? Where are you ?" I hear the voice of Jisoo.

"Please leave me alone."

"Something happenned ? You seem sulky today", she retorts.

I can't be mad at her. She just wants to understand me, and it would be too cruel if I ignore her. Therefore, I get up from the ground and open the door. She turns to me, and a small smile shines on her rosy lips.

"There you are !"

I smile a little while she surrounds her arm on my shoulders and takes me out of the restroom without my consentent.

"Lisa and Jennie are looking for you. We split up to increase the chances of finding you", she explains while walking in the corridor.

"Unnie, we need to do something."

She stops, and looks at me.

"If you're talking about Lisa and Jennie, I'm totally in ! I'm tired of hearing them arguing all the time."

"Your mom is a therapist for couples, right ?"

"Yeah ! But what's your point exactly ?" she asks me, tilting her head to the side. "She solves the problem of couples, did you just--... Do you want them to be a couple ?"

I didn't mean it ! She has misinterpreted my question, and I couldn't more embarassed than now. My cheeks start to heat up, and I shake my head.

"No, I-I mean, what was she doing to make you reconcile with your brother ?"

"She locked us in my room until we were fine with each other," Jisoo replies with a shrug.

"Your mom's a genius."
